Alum: Currently CHS I’m under construction adding amazing new facilities, classrooms and a turfed football field. Would’ve been amazing to be a student to be able to enjoy the new things, but I still loved my time there. So many teachers were welcoming, helpful and encouraging. That what my favorite thing was. Being able to know my teachers had me back and loved what they teach so it made class more fun.

Anderson-Shiro Junior/Senior High School
#2 Best Public High Schools in Grimes County
- Anderson-Shiro Consolidated Independent School District, TX
- Rating 3.73 out of 5 40 reviews
Junior: It is a very small school that maintains the importance of empathy that a lot of schools let get out of hand due to the shear number of students. Since it's such a small school the teachers are better able to tend to the students misunderstandings. Although we get a better understanding of the foundation of subjects we do not have too many options for furthering interests, which might be due to the rural formalities the majority of the students tend to stick with. I do feel that everyone who was there to ready me for my future gave whatever they could to do so, and would admit whenever they did not know but gave us leads on where to start for me to find out for myself. This school taught me the literal value of knowledge and that you should always seek out answers where none are found.

Richards High School
- Richards Independent School District, TX
- Rating 4.33 out of 5 12 reviews
Alum: What I loved most about Richards High School is that it's a smaller school than most, allowing for more one on one time with teachers and you'll learn more than just math and science; you'll also learn life lessons here. I grew up in a classroom with 11 other students, and over the years we bonded together like a family, even despite all the drama of high school. In this kind of environment, where everyone knows everyone, it's easier to connect with others, make friends and family, and reach out to others (whether student or teacher) for help in a time of need. The school isn't the greatest that it could be, but the community surrounding it is always looking forward to improving it and also helping encourage others to step up and make the learning environment a better place than it was yesterday.

Navasota High School

- Rating 3.43 out of 5 67 reviews
Senior: Throughout my Navasota High School years , I've had many great experiences . Navasota High School has taught me a lot of things that i should know becoming an adult. For example, this year, I learned how to fill out my own taxes. Although there is some areas that could be worked on, I can say Navasota High School will prepare you for college and the real world without a doubt.
