Bellbrook High School
#1 Best Public High Schools in Greene County
- Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Local School District, OH
- Rating 3.92 out of 5 156 reviews
Senior: An absolutely incredible learning environment. Despite how heavy budget cuts reduced the extracurriculars to solely sports and community service, the spectacular faculty make BHS my second home. I feel academically challenged and nourished in the most advanced programs. Lots of AP courses and additional STEM programs are taught by thorough and effective teachers-- my personal favorites are the several classes in computer science, AP calculus, and AP English!

Yellow Springs High School & McKinney Middle School
#2 Best Public High Schools in Greene County
- Yellow Springs Exempted Village School District, OH
- Rating 3.43 out of 5 40 reviews
Alum: Yellow Springs High School does a phenomenal job with engaging with students and trying to provide them with resources to succeed in the future whether it be in college or some other professional field. However, the academics could be more rigorous and offer more serious preparation for the challenges that students will likely face in college.

Beavercreek High School
#3 Best Public High Schools in Greene County
- Beavercreek City School District, OH
- Rating 3.79 out of 5 389 reviews
Alum: It was pretty good! For the most part, my teachers were open and kind, and the students were some of the most polite for all the schools and states I've lived in. A little more involvement in the students lives (reaching out to troubled kids) and more oversight on teachers (there were more than one times where it was obvious a teacher didn't enjoy their job or were unable/unwilling to do it properly with little repercussion). Otherwise, there were plenty of activities to join in on, and a good diversity of classes.

Cedarville High School

- Cedar Cliff Local School District, OH
- Rating 3.82 out of 5 33 reviews
Senior: I was enrolled at Cedarcliff k-12 and I loved it! With such small community it feels like you have a whole army that's got your back. Though they may be small their academics are fantastic. Teacher's are willing to help in anyway they can.

Greeneview High School
#5 Best Public High Schools in Greene County
- Greeneview Local School District, OH
- Rating 3.66 out of 5 50 reviews
Senior: Greeneview is an excellent educational environment with, for the most part, kind-hearted students who care about their development. GHS offers many opportunities for students to enhance and further their learning. With better funding, which I hope GHS sees in future years, programs can be made even better and even more opportunistic. For a small town farm school, GHS is quite modern and forward in its education. The music department is struggling due to poor funding, but parents and faculty are doing what they can to bring more money in to give back to the students.

Fairborn High School
- Fairborn City School District, OH
- Rating 3.5 out of 5 157 reviews
Alum: My overall experience at Fairborn high school was fairly average in terms of what to expect from a small midwestern town. Sports were a big deal and everybody knew everybody which also helped prevent bullying within the school. However, getting to know the teachers there was easily one of the best decisions I made during my entire high school career. Most of them are very genuine people who are there for more than just a paycheck and there are many there now that I w.ould consider aquaintences if not friends. Many of the staff there are willing to help you wth just about anything as long as you are kind to them

Xenia High School
- Xenia Community City School District, OH
- Rating 3.15 out of 5 263 reviews
Senior: I love the environment the this school provides. The staff members are very friendly and willing to work with you, which makes for an excellent learning environment. I would like to see some of the administration work better with the faculty so that the building runs smoothly. I would also like to see updated facilities because the building is very old and needs to be remodeled.
