Gorham High School

Senior: Gorham, though small, has been a great experience for me. The teachers and staff are phenomenal. They are people that really care about the success of students. The majority of the staff have had jobs in the career that they are teaching making a great atmosphere for learning. The school psychologists and guidance counselors go above and beyond with students. The reason I could not give Gorham five stars was purely because it is hard to find great friends because of the lack of people and overall diversity.

Senior: White Mountains Regional offers a variety of different classes in order to reach all the interests of students. Newly offered classes including JROTC, criminal justice, and culinary prepare students entering the workforce directly after high school, and connect them with local future employers. This school also allows students to explore future interests, such as majors they wish to study in college, by allowing them to have these extended learning opportunities such as job shadowing, during the school day in order to give them a chance to explore their career of interest and connect them with individuals and companies of the community.

Junior: I have been attending Colebrook schools since kindergarten. With being a very involved student, I have been able to experience a lot of the clubs, councils, and extracurricular activities they have to offer. Colebrook Academy has a good amount of activities, but I do wish they would put more focus into these activities than they do, because I feel sports have the majority of the attention. There are students who cannot participate in sports, or are simply not interested in them. There are several great things about this school including the administration, classes, and college preparation, but I do wish there were more advertisement of extracurricular activities, not including sports.

Senior: This small community school is full of supportive figures with a great faculty to student ratio. Since the population is so small, there is a lot of room for one-on-one assistance. The school is close knit and full of different types of students.

Alum: This school was amazing. It was a smaller school so it allowed everything to be so personal with each other. One on one was always a thing that was encouraged. Everyone was friendly excited to be there. The sports were amazing and that was the life of our school. Academics were great, teachers really focused on making sure we understood everything before they moved on. The school was a positive and healthy place to be.
