Senior: My experience at University Laboratory High School, or as we call it, Uni High was an okay experience overall. The teachers are amazing and most of them care deeply about their students. The workload is intense, so be ready to spend a lot of time studying and doing work. Senior year, the counselor is great and they basically hold your hand through the college application process.

Senior: Mahomet-Seymour is an excellent school academic wise. They aren't very diverse, but they have so many different clubs and sports available to students. The teachers are all wonderful, and you can tell that they truly care about their students. All teachers want to help students be the best that they can be and value that. I feel like the school is always working hard to improve, whether it's the cafeteria food, class structure, teaching style, or the building itself. Mahomet is a very safe and caring community and the school reflects that. The students push themselves to be the best that they can be. No one is scared to go to school and the teachers make every day fun!

Senior: The curriculum and teaching is pretty good. Good office hours. They don’t really push you to take more challenging classes like APs though. People do pretty well here if they sort of try. The clubs available aren’t much. They definitely need more funding in that area for volunteering, membership, etc. The sports have decent programs.

Sophomore: Saint Joseph-Ogden High School always provides a great education and has wonderful teachers. In my time here, I have only had one bad teacher. I feel the rest have cared about me and would be willing to put in extra time. The extracurriculars are fun and a great place to make friends. The administration cares about the students and is always there to talk. I always feel safe here. The athletics department is very strong, but the fine arts department is not forgotten. An administrator is always at band concerts and drama productions. The teachers give the students an opportunity to share their opinions and make sure it is safe. There is a GSA club and we had a mental health talk at school. In health, we talked about mental illnesses and eating disorders, which is not a fun topic but is a necessary one. Students here are kind and helpful. The small school makes it easy to know everyone and it is wonderful seeing familiar faces. I can not imagine going to high school anywhere else.

Senior: I was a student that moved from a small school in a small town to a big school in a big city, and with the changes of everyday culture I experienced from moving, Centennial provided a safe and welcoming place for me to adjust to my new surroundings. The teacher and students are very nice. With that being said, one of the changes I would like to see in Centennial is the teacher driving the students to be better and help the students become the best versions of themselves. I understand that there are some students that are hard to work with but they should never stop trying. I feel that some of the adults that work there give up on some of us when it comes to us understanding subjects and things around us. But overall Centennial High School is a great school to be at everyday.

Senior: There is a really good community at UHS, especially in the preforming arts social circles. Being in marching band is one of the best parts of my school experience there. Everyone is so welcoming and inclusive. Though the homework can be stressful sometimes the community and the friends you make there make things easier. They offer a lot of AP classes and have good teachers who care about their students futures. They offer some college course though it would be nice if they offered more. All in all it’s a pretty good school and the community is really great.

Junior: The teachers make this school great. Understanding, personable, and encouraging, they exceed the requirements of their positions. However, those in leadership have an unnerving tolerance for intolerance. Slurs are spoken, women are disrespected, and consequences are nonexistent. Diversity in race, culture, and opinions are lacking in every way. Yet, if you can manage to ignore every ignorant person in that building, the handful that remain are like family.

One of the greatest ffa chapter and sports teams the teacher set you up for college and prepare you for the real world. Teachers understand the kind of person you may be and your strengths and weaknesses. They are all understanding and when tragedy’s happens unit seven is there with you through every step of the way!

High School Senior: I like this school because of its size. I couldn't concentrate before with big crowds and so I decided that it would be best for me to attend a school with a smaller population. I also like this school because its a go at your own pace school. You can come here to get ahead or you could come because you need to catch up. I came here as a junior to get ahead so I could graduate early, now I have all my credits to be a senior and I might not have to be in school until my graduating month. That's what makes this school unique. Another thing I like is how you get a lot of individual help here as to where in a big high school you would most likely have to stay after school to get the one on one help you need. This school provides a much smaller, yet more peaceful environment then any other high school I have attended and it's helped me a lot.
