Junior: I love Midway High School! The teachers are amazing, the administrators are phenomenal, and the campus itself is wonderful. In my time at MHS I’ve made relationships that will last a lifetime. The students really understand what it means to be good people and they represent the school with pride. On top of that, the atmosphere at the school is absolutely amazing! We love different activities and the student body always shows up to support their fellow classmates. Midway High School is an awesome school and I am so blessed to be a Panther!

Senior: I moved to Lorena when I was in fourth grade, and will graduate here as well. Everyone knows that moving to a new school can be rough and difficult for most, but the Staff, Students and community made it feel like home. The school really cares for your education and wants you to push you to do your best to be successful. There are also a lot of clubs/ extracurricular activities to be in as well. There is a place for everyone to fit in at, at Lorena High School!

China Spring High School
#5 Best High Schools for STEM in Waco Area

Junior: All of the teachers and administrators are very kind and clearly want the students to succeed. My math teachers were my favorite and have helped me achieve mathematics understanding greater than anything I could have ever imagined. Marching band is one of the most important parts of my high school experience. I have served as a drum major for the past year and it has changed my life; I have learned so many leadership skills and made life-long friendships. The only complaint I have about China Spring is the poor science department. I have taken both both honors chemistry and AP chemistry and both of them have been taught by teachers who never taught chemistry before and seriously struggled to teach effectively. I am very worried about the rather lack-luster science department as I wish to go into a biological or chemical science. Aside from that, however, China Spring has treated me very well with history and English, as well as the arts and I am very satisfied with my education.

Senior: A small school from a small town Bremond High School is a charming school that gets the job done. Due to the small-town nature that encompasses this school, it presents many pros and cons that even though it may help your education it may affect your social life as well.
