Senior: Great high quality high school, and a positive environment and safe, clean, no vandalism. Bullying, fighting, are rare in this high school. Everyone here is eager to learn. Theres many clubs, events, and a large selection of cool and fun and useful elective classes to prepare students for college. This high school has above average level court classes then most regular high schools so being said its harder then most high schools but its worth it. They only hire teachers with docter degrees, which are college level teachers. That explains why it's a hard and prepares students for success. Since students here are good students and behave well the school gives students many freedoms and privileges then regular high schools.

Senior: I feel adequately prepared for college, which is the main goal for a college prep high school. ATC is one of the best high schools in New Mexico, and the reason for that is that the teachers and administration genuinely care about the students. I'm currently a senior at ATC, and I've been at ATC since 7th grade. My work ethic and leadership skills have greatly improved since my time being here. However, the down side to ATC is because it's a charter school, it doesn't receive a lot of funding. There's not a lot of sports or clubs to choose from, and the school itself doesn't have a lot of resources for extracurricular classes and activities.

#4 Best High Schools for STEM in Santa Fe Area

Freshman: Absolutely great school!! I have been coming to this school for the past year and a half, starting in 8th and now midway through 9th. As for academics it is the top in New Mexico. Since the school is using the International Baccalaureate system, students are challenged yet prepared greatly for university. We have seniors going straight into sophomore year in college. With the rigorous system, anyone who gets the IB Diploma has the advantage of getting into better college programs. Our school is only lacking in athletics. But since the school is growing, more teams will be formed in the next couple years. For now we only have middle school teams in volleyball (girls) and basketball (both). All students are allowed to play for other public school teams in our district. I highly recommend our school to anyone who is looking for a tougher (academically speaking), safer, and more welcoming community.

The MASTERS Program
#7 Best High Schools for STEM in Santa Fe Area
- Public School
- SANTA FE, NM
- Rating 4.61 out of 5 28 reviews
Senior: The Masters Program is a very impressive take on education. Students get to choose their classes, which includes college courses as well as high school classes. As a result, students' schedules can be very open, ranging from having one class a day to having five.
Fridays are reserved for building a stronger community for the school. Gathering or clubs happens for an hour in the morning, then we go out into the community to provide services, such as helping in elementary schools, volunteering with animals, and building new skills.
Overall, the teachers are amazing people and the students are capable and responsible.
