Senior: Ever since I heard about the Early College program my 8th-grade year, I knew it was the route I wanted to take. Coming here has given me so many tools and given me so many new experiences that I would have never received at a normal High School. The school taught me at a great pace and challenged my thinking every year I attended. Being in this college environment for the past 4 years has helped me grow as a student and a person, and I think it has fully prepared me for what I will face in the next 4 years at University.

Senior: They care for each student independently.
Need to change dress code, it's ridiculous.
Would like to see more teachers though, like a choice for extra classes; so students can explore more.

Junior: I have been a student of the UTPB STEM Academy since 6th grade, and I am currently in 11th grade. The reason I give this school five stars is that the environment they have you in is amiable. Our classes are small enough so that the teacher can connect to everyone in the classroom and has a chance to help someone who may need it. All the staff at this school is amiable, and it seems like everyone knows everyone. Currently, we have UIL competitions such as Number Sense, FTC Robotics, and so many more. The courses that we are taking help us prepare for whatever field we plan to go into. They have engineering, biomedical, and computer science classes, and they are even setting us up with internships around the city. The only downside to this school is we have no sports available for the students and we have no cafeteria to serve food. We either bring food or we order food from providers such as Chick-Fil-A or the Elegante Hotel

Stanton High School

Senior: I have enjoyed going to school here and can not imagine going anywhere else. The facilities are new and most of the teachers are very helpful and polite. The only problem that I can see is college readiness. The school is pretty strict when it comes to cell phones and dress code. Every high school has restrictions but in the case of college readiness, they lack support. The school almost babys the students in college classes which may cause problems in the following years. Overall this school is as good as any other and will progress to become great.
