Alum: Battlefield High School was an amazing experience all four years that I went. I have grown so much within those years and made close friends that I still keep in touch with today. The teachers at Battlefield, push you to do your absolute best and whenever you are struggling, they will find a way to help you. I have gained a lot of confidence in myself over the four years. The music department received all ones from their assessments multiple years in a row. Which resulted in our school becoming a Blue Ribbon school. I was a part of the philharmonic orchestra, so that achievement meant a lot to me! The student dynamic is one that I will never forget. Everyone gets along with each other and treats everyone with respect. The administrators always made sure everyone was safe during and after school hours. Along with dealing with important emergencies in a safe and productive way. Overall, I enjoyed going to this school and would not want to have gone anywhere else.

Senior: I really like the academics at Osbourn Park (OP) High school! Majority of the teachers were competent in their jobs and helped to ensure students have a well-understanding of the content presented. I would personally like to give a shoutout to their amazing math department. There were also many clubs and activities available for all students! From community service to drama club, there was something for everyone! Students had the chance to develop and show off their school spirit with spirit week and pep rallies. The school is pretty diverse too with students of all cultures and backgrounds. The admin did a great job and facilitating academic programs and maintaining school order. Furthermore, the different events held such as international night, and the black expo enhances the diverse culture of the school. Overall I had an amazing time as Osbourn Park and OP's culture can be describe as "cheerful."

Senior: Patriot High School is a school with core principles of leadership, integrity, character, and pride. I think the school shows how much they believe in each one of their students to uphold those principles and represent the school daily. The school provides many different opportunities for students in order to grow and expand their knowledge to fit every individual’s interests. One minor thing I would certainly change about the school is to allow more time for lunch and remove the lunch blocks that take place in the middle of a class. Lunch should be a transition and wind-down period to relieve stress, but when students have lunch in the middle of a class rather than directly after one, students tend to over stress or have a hard time refocusing on what the class was discussing before lunch once the students return to class. Overall, Patriot high school has helped me succeed!

It is an IT focused school and offers lots of classes with a focus on programming, computers, and information technology. The teachers are very helpful and make sure all the students are getting the best education possible. Forest Park has lots of athletics and extracurricular clubs that one can take part in. You will find that the people you meet at Forest Park will become like family to you and will help you along your path of prepping for college. Forest Park will be the best 4 years of your life!

Senior: Before Woodbridge, I attended Gar-Field, another highschool in the district, and found a home at Woodbridge. The staff, students, and community make the school so great. Not to mention we have some of the most talented student-athletes and well-rounded students in the county. This school has been my home for 4 years even if I have only been here for 3. I am so sad to leave it this spring, but so beyond grateful for the chance to be a part of something bigger than myself. Once a Viking, always a Viking!

Senior: I’ve had a nice experience with this school. I’ve had positive experiences with most all of my teachers. There are endless extracurricular activities to join, one could never get bored at Hylton. I especially love the diversity- it feels like there are no majority/minority groups because all ethnicities attend this school! Every day at lunch, a variety of healthy foods are offered. The counselors work fairly well with you and are great in preparing you for college. Hylton offers a lot of classes, (even rare ones like Woodworking and TV Production) so it’s a nice school to attend no matter what your interests are.

Senior: I love my high school! The school is very diverse and accepting of all kinds of people. Everyone has an amazing school spirit. For the most part, the staff is very caring and makes the learning aspect fun. Most of the sports teams have made it to districts or regional playoffs every year. The school also hosts a play that the theater kids produce. It is always a success and the majority of students show up to support them. This school is a Fine and Performing arts program and the students who are involved in the program are phenomenal. But this doesn't intimidate the students who aren't involved. I am not apart of the program but still feel very welcomed. I couldn't be happier with the students, staff, culture, sports, and spirit at Colgan.
