Middle School Student: Thomas Jefferson is a very great school. Compared to most schools, it is higher academically, and brings more of a challenge to the students. The teachers here are excellent, and you can tell they really care about each and every one of their students. The school is small in terms of the number of students, which makes it easier to ask for personal help from a teacher. Unfortunately, there are almost no activities or clubs at this school, and there is no orchestra. Therefore, if a student enjoys sports or clubs, you would have to go to a different school. Also, due to the small size of the school, there are no lockers provided for middle school students, so students would have to carry their backpack everywhere they go, and it can be much of a burden oftentimes. Overall, Thomas Jefferson, is a very good school. Academically, it is excellent, and it makes up for the lack of activities and clubs.

Works Here: The atmosphere is welcoming. The staff work well together for the students that are served. There is always soothing to smile at. The PTA is amazing and the parent volunteers often go above and beyond.
