Middle School Student: I think Whittle is a pretty good school. It has students from all backgrounds and ethnicities. In my honest opinion people who reviewed this school and gave it a 1 out of 5 are just upset because they didn't get in! All the programs are pretty exceptional, Math specifically is not divided by age but by level. Most teachers are really supportive and give you a reasonable ammount of work. The only problem is that most students have a rocky relationship with the lunch since the kitchens were not finished in time and Whittle had to to use a catering service that most students did not favor. The other thing is the construction. It can sometimes be difficult to get around but everyday they are advancing and trying to make the school better. Something that can be a challenge though are the keycards. That need to be used to access every single floor. But as long as your child/you is repsonisble that will never happen, hopefully. Also a teacher will probably come along and buzz them in.
