Fishburne Military School
Alum: This school prepared me to be a successful working adult and soldier in the Army. This school is not for anyone with a bourgeois upbringing (they are the ones who complain/ed incessantly). The biggest gems are all of the advanced and dual-enrollment (college credit) courses; those helped tremendously in an easy transition to college. I have known many alumni who have gone on to achieve ordinary successful lives—such as myself—and some who are very successful whether in a technical trade, business, politics, or military (and those alumni are not all Americans). This is a classic model school, hence the reason that it has lasted and will continue to last for a very long time. Teachers are generally underpaid compared to local education salary averages; and they generally teach more for the love of their subject. This is the right place for a son who already has a sense of morality, ethics, work ethic, cleanliness, modesty and humility. This is not the place for a juvenile delinquent.
