#3 Best Public Elementary Schools in Marin County
Bel Aire Elementary School
Parent: We moved from a San Francisco private school with 2 kids. We were nervous at first transferring during COVID. My kids opted for in person learning and the teachers have done a phenomenal job-responsive, organized, kind. My fifth grader had a differentiated learning experience in math when we asked more of a challenge. The community has been kind welcoming us during COVID. Enrichment such as Spanish, music, art, PE and library are outstanding. There are clubs at no cost such as math, band, chorus, C4C, a TV prod. club and more. They provide help for kids that need more in breakouts after school. The academics are on par with our former San Francisco private school. Our kids do not feel stressed out and are very happy with their new friends. I am impressed by the COVID in person protocols (e.g. PPE, plexiglass, tents, etc.). The Foundation for Reed Schools spent $1mm+ in COVID safety. Highly recommend coming to Bel Aire - an intimate community with entire town in the same school.... Read 1 review
