Niche User: Wish we could get funding to improve the school. Since it is a older school, many things have held up over time. Same desks and chairs since I was a student in the early 1980's. But you see where academically, the teachers and staff need support for some students who do not have the support at home. Not the fault of the teachers and staff. Need more parent participation. Although parents are not welcomed into the school and asked/expected to participate enough. And when a parent is interested in participating, feels like they are not needed. Although there are SO many ways this school would operate better if the parents would do more for the school. The school is SOO charming!!! Great location, great established building. Great staff and most teachers are excellent. If this school was given a few million, I think they would be able to improve the weaknesses of being an older school. Enhance each classroom with modern tools, computers, projectors, individual laptops, etc. Also add some more rooms to the school. 3 portable classrooms, which have been there since the 1980's. This school needs to build a large addition onto it to double the size. Classrooms are full and we need more classes.... Read 6 reviews
