Works Here: I have been a fifth grade teacher at The da Vinci Academy for four years, and I feel so fortunate to be a part of this amazing staff and school! When I found out I had been hired at TdVA, I literally jumped up and down! From the moment I stepped inside, it was a place I knew I wanted to be a part of, because of all the amazing opportunities for students! We have so much to offer through our Arts-Integrated approach to learning. We incorporate music, art, drama, and movement to helps students learn through a variety of modalities. So far this year we have explored Blues Music and its origins, learned pantomime, created Water Cycle dances, and hosted an African Drumming Workshop! I think one of the things I love most about da Vinci, is the sense of community and acceptance for all of our students.
