Senior: Burris is a unique high school because it is part of Ball State. Classes are small, teachers really care about their students and the students' success. Administration trys to make things better for students. There are a lot of dual credit college classes available. Because Burris is part of Ball State, we have access to many other resources (pool, planetarium, dining, museum, gym), but also, I think we can be better about partnering with Ball State in other academic areas.
Burris is K-12, and they do a lot with older students mentoring younger ones, and seniors have the opportunity to take an internship as part of their school day. Burris has athletics and other club activities for students will all interests.
Overall, Burris is a good school where students know they are cared about and teachers and administrators go out of their way to support the students. I feel prepared to go to college.... Read 72 reviews
