I have attended Collegiate since preschool, and I am forever amazed at the level of care and dedication each and every teacher and faculty member possesses. The school provides a positive learning environment and boundless opportunities for its students. Not only does Collegiate have stellar academics, but they also have so many other experiences to enrich the life of each and every student- whether they are in preschool or a senior in high school! Sports, fine arts, vocal music department, band, and the amazing STEM building and innovation labs provide a unique experience. Freshman: The small environment creates an opportunity for students to form better relationships with the majority of their classmates. Teachers are very friendly and you can have more one-on-one instruction time. Teachers care more about your understanding of a topic rather than just learning the material to do well on a test. Overall, it is a very welcoming school, and with all of the classes, it broadens one’s worldview. Students are given the opportunity to grow in their faith and grow in knowledge of their savior. Alum: Being a student at Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School was very interesting. I had some of the best times there but also some of the worst. I would say a big plus of the school is the small student population. There is definitely a sense of community there and I never felt alone. A negative point of the school was the blatant racism from some of the students and the lack of action from administration. I understand that not every bad act can be caught and reprimanded but at least some can and I did not see much initiative in those moments from the adults in the building. Works Here: Life PrepAratory Academy can be a great place to study! As with most things in life, you get more when you put more of yourself into it. I have seen so many students come here, apply themselves and go on to thrive in colleges and careers. They return to say they attribute their success to the foundation that was established here at Life Prep. Our students also praise the opportunity they have to experience the unique diversity we have at the school. Where else can a teenager come in contact with students from over 20 different countries?! Senior: I transferred to Sunrise Christian in August of 2019. My previous school experience was absolutely horrific. I was anxious about starting a new school in my junior year, no friends, harder academics, etc. I joined the volleyball team and instantly all my fears vanished. I became friends with some of the most amazing girls ever! The welcome didn't end on the volleyball court. Everyone from faculty and staff to students was so inviting and genuine it made the whole process extremely easy. I am now a senior and have grown both academically and spiritually. I genuinely love going to school, I never have to worry about drama, bullying, or worrying about what others think. I would recommend anyone and everyone to enroll at Sunrise Christian Academy.... Parent: I have three kids here at Berean in high school, and upper and lower elementary. We have been so blessed having our kids here starting in Kindergarten. Works Here: Being at CCA has been one of the best experiences I've ever had. I have never met such genuine, kind, intentional people. From the business office to the front office to the teachers, every single faculty member cares for one another and the students like family. Middle School Student: I went to Holy Cross for 5 years, and overall my experience was great. The education was amazing, although a little stressful at times. The athletics there were amazing. I feel that the coaches did their job very well when it came to teaching us and helping us grow in our athletic abilities. The teachers there also helped me grow in my faith with God. I'm thankful to be blessed enough to go to a school like Holy Cross. Now I'm off to high school, as I just graduated eighth grade.
