Parent: I met with this school when I moved to NOVA. I have two kids graduated from Pinnacle Academy. First of all, the teachers are so passionate and dedicated to their craft. My kids had incredible opportunities in fine arts, and other extracurricular activities. The school administrators recognize the children by name and have a loving community. Secondly, the school has the powerful and challenging academic curriculum. I followed my kids improving themselves at finding out and expecting higher from themselves as well. Now, my daughter and my son get accepted good universities with good scholarship. The school has a dual credit enrollment opportunity with NOVA College for eligible students that help students get acceptance good colleges. They loved the school environment and they were happy. Junior: I really enjoy the overall energy of PVI. Everyone is friendly and respectful, and you just feel like you’re welcome everywhere. The classes had the perfect amount of rigor, and the teachers were always available for a chat. That’s is one thing in particular I appreciate. At my old school there was no such relationship with our teachers. Here, you can email your teachers as well as asking during or after class. This was the case for a large percent of my classes. Senior: It's no high school musical, but at times its even better. Wakefield School was ranked #1 in the state years in a row and is the only school to have established a senior thesis in 1985. Parent: The Hill School is what every parent dreams a school should be for their child, but most wouldn't believe existed any longer. Hill School teachers are highly skilled educators who continually keep parents involved in their child's education and have the ability to teach students in such a way that they LOVE going to school. Children are given the opportunity to participate in sports, theatre, the arts, etc, with the intended goal of making each child well rounded in all areas of life. In addition, the core curriculum is excellent, with many hands-on experiences and outdoor learning and activities as an integral part of keeping children excited and engaged in the learning process. The faculty and staff are also amazing. Always available to listen and quick to help and solve whatever issues might arise. Middle School Student: I am a student here, and I think that this school is very good. The teachers are very nice, but know when it's time to get down to business.
