Senior: It is hard to put into words the incredibly positive impact that this school has had on my life. Coming in as an awkward freshman, I was greeted by a welcoming community of intelligent, funny, and hard-working students and teachers that have supported me since day one. Through the most amazing sports teams, clubs, organizations, and even just academic classes, I have made memories and formed relationships (with students and teachers alike) that will last me a lifetime. Now as a senior in my fourth year at the school, I feel confident in myself as a learner, friend, teammate, leader, and person, and so much of this is thanks to Nobles. Starting with assembly in the morning, and ending with "Dogs on three, one, two, three, DOGS!" at the end of practice in the afternoon, the constant infectious energy makes it a joy for me to go to school each day. Parent: Our son started as a 9th grader in the fall of 2020. The school has exceeded our very high expectations. Even with the ongoing pandemic, the school has managed to provide an academically rigorous and caring/supportive community. The teachers are extraordinary. They know our son very well and truly care about his academic AND personal and spiritual development. His academic transition from public school has been seamless. We are confident the education he is receiving will prepare him very well for college. In this uncertain time with so much angst in society, I can not think of a better community for our son to be part of. On a daily basis the faculty and administration communicate their time tested wisdom that allows him to help filter out the current angst and noise that surrounds us all. Middle School Student: Al-Noor Academy is a beautiful and brilliant place to learn. If your looking for a school for your child to learn Islam, this is the perfect place. Al-Noor Academy offers many courses for such, like Islamic Sciences, Quranic Studies, and more. Additionally, the math, science, history, literature, and so many other courses are wonderful. The teachers care for each and every student to help them thrive in these rigorous classes. Parent: My only child graduated from CATS Academy Boston a year ago. She got straight into Computer Sci uni program without taking competitive uni entrance exam. I'm happy so today I share this review. I can't say enough good things CATS offer to students: beautiful n safe campus, rich food, diverse culture, great teacher guidance...Boarding room is so unique, my child was given a single room with own clean bathroom n aircon, something I can't find in any other boarding school before. Therefore, she studied very hard n got great results during 2 years highschool at CATS. CATS prepares so well for university. AP n advanced courses she took at CATS, my daughter joins in many helpful clubs within n outside of school. Middle School Student: The Woodward School is by far one of the best all girls schools in all of Massachusetts. Their teachers are top notch and their curriculum is fun while also very educational. Many of the teachers write their own curriculum and they do such an amazing job of it. They also really include the students in decisions. For example when they were choosing a new head of school they let the students meet the candidate and ask him/her/them questions about what they plan to do for the school, how they would handle specific problems, even just their opinion on snow days, also if they support the LGBTQ community. The Woodward school is very supportive of the LGBTQ community they have many students who are part of the LGBTQ community as well as some teachers! The Woodward school does many great things for the community for example our animal welfare club collected toys and treats for the nearby dog shelters, and our environmental club has done numerous things for the community and the school.... For us the teachers went above and beyond inside and outside the classroom. The faith based education you receive at Spellman keeps kids grounded no matter what is going on in the world. Parent: Archbishop Williams is exceeding our expectations in every way. I currently have two students attending the school. One in the Junior High and one in the High School. My children are very different from one another and each has found a home here. The teachers are engaged, kind, challenging, responsive and willing to go the extra mile. I have noticed that MANY show up to sports events and other activities to support their students. The administration is available and accessible. They are also very involved with the students. Parent: I was lucky enough to attended Delphi as a child growing up, and last month my toddler started there! The same things I loved about Delphi long ago are still present and thriving. The teachers are enthusiastic and passionate about learning and make every single day fun. The small class sizes allow for a strong nurturing relationship between staff and student, and my child feels welcomed and loved already. I appreciate that Delphi's reading program teaches students to read at such a young age and provides them with a genuine love for learning. It isn't forced upon them and that was something I loved when I went- I became a strong independent learner which helped me through college and into my career. Many of the staff that worked there when I was young are still present- which means a lot in this day and age. Alum: I attended Sage a while ago for about 10 years and it was the most wonderful place to grow up in. I always felt supported by teachers and classmates, and while our grades were very small in size, there were tons of opportunities to become friends with students in other grades, and the student population was relatively diverse. Teachers really cared about students and their academic and social well-being, I'd say the only thing was that classes were so small that it felt like every teacher knew everything about me and my friends, which only became a little awkward in middle school. Overall, however, I felt engaged, loved the students, loved almost every teacher I had, did after school clubs (there were no sports there at the time, i'm not sure if there are now) and look back on my time there as idyllic. Parent: We have been a part of the Saint Agatha Community since last year, while it also went under an Administration change. It is such a safe and nurturing learning environment that our children enjoy going to every day. We came from a school with bullying issues that were being ignored. We were so pleased when our child came home to say they spent the first week of school learning about "how to treat our friends". The values that they instill daily and practice are essential. We have younger children and all of the older children are always saying Hi to them with high fives and making them feel so special. The teachers and faculty are absolutely incredible and loved by our children. The parent community is so strong and supportive. Niche User: Teachers and administrators work very hard here with not as many resources as other school. There is a want and a drive to revamp the after-school acticities and sports programs within the school, but there just doesn't seem like their is enough students and funding to make this a reality. This very hard working admininstration would make this school thrive if they were able to get the funding for the things they need. They include the entire staff in important decision and listen to everyone's ideas and try to come up with the best solutions. Many times staff members have had excellent idea but the administration had to veto them because of the lack of funding the school receives. The only flaw I see with the adminstration is they sometimes allow families to drive some of the decision that should be made internally within the building. Our child has made lifelong friends there and will take most of them to Feehan with them. They got into all the highest classes at Feehan and are prepared for a rigorous Catholic education.
