Alum: I loved my three years there! I have had invaluable once-in-a-lifetime opportunities and experiences here and I have grown so much from my journey! Fair warning, it is pretty rigorous academically and, and especially a rather sharp learning curve if you enter after freshman year ,(I was a new sophomore) but, once you find or reach out to the necessary people, it'll make the adjustment so much easier. Parent: Our son is a senior who has attended The Pennington School since his freshman year and his experience has been tremendous! He has friends from all over the world, his classes have had about 8 to 13 students in each which has translated to personalized and high-level instruction with active student engagement/participation every day, he's participated in sports and multiple activities, clubs and fundraisers all 4 years including tutoring students in Malawi, being part of the Global Studies program, and serving on the "Green Team" where he has been able to make an environmental impact. We hosted 2 international students his soph year who have become family. And he is already set up with where he will attend college next year. This school offers so much that it has been a gift that he has been able to attend for his high school years. It molds girls into strong, confident, and beautiful young women ready to change the world! Sophomore: I love attending Nazareth. Teachers care about their students and have engaging topics in their classes. There's many clubs and sports and the girls that attend here have a great sense of school pride. The school real cares about our mental health and they prioritize us. A counselor is always available to a student throughout the day. I love the new block scheduling for students.It optimizes the students attention span and they include much needed breaks to avoid students to feel burn out.Class sizes are usually small and it leads to deeper connections between students and teachers.Food is great and staff is friendly.Art and Music is vital for our school community. Junior: I have been a student here for 3 years now, and I have had quite the experience with this school. The teachers here are supportive and kind-they really want you to succeed. The students here are like every other school, we have the popular kids and the loners. This school is overall amazing, though it has some underlying flaws. The diversity is not the best, which anyone can see. But in order to add more inclusion into our school, we have the SHADES club, which is a club for people of color, where they can celebrate their differences. Alum: I attended Ryan for my senior year only and wished the entire time I came my freshman year so I could get the full experience. The school itself holds so much character and all the administration do their best to make the students feel accepted and happy. I say every school has room to improve and among renovating the locker rooms and adding a track to the back (which are in the process of being done!) the biggest problem I had was the condition the bathrooms went through with many crazy students, but other than that Id say the school is a 10/10! The school has low teacher turnover, there is an 8 year difference between my children and they both had the same teachers. The Kindergarten teacher has over 30 years experience at Childtowne! Works Here: The Laurel School is a wonderful community! The faculty and administration truly care about the students and are very much involved with the success of each student!
