Parent: Berkeley is a great school. Lots of amazing teachers who really care about their students academic growth and well being. Children are challenged with an exciting, broad curriculum that prepares them well for high school. Middle schoolers get to try as many sports as they want. High school students are offered a good number of courses with levels giving everyone a chance to be challenged and succeed . There is a myriad of Extracurricular activities and the school is generally open to students interests, so if they are interested in a club that does not exist they will likely be able to form one. The investment in and quality of high school sports varies depending on sport, so there is room for improvement there. The arts program is very good. Parent: Calvary Christian High School is an amazing combination of a stellar education, warm hug of caring teacher/staff, and tight knit community of students and families. CCHS prides itself on offering college level classes with staff who can do so. The extracurriculars as far as sports, clubs, and programs can not be beat for a private school support. There is nothing the students, or families, do without here and everyone feels supported along the high school path. Senior: I was a transfer from another school into CCC so I have the unique ability to compare both Catholic schools I was in. I have never felt more like home than when I stepped foot on this campus. I have never encountered a more caring staff all the way from admin to the teachers, even the coaches and training staff. I would highly recommend anyone for this school. The student body is amazing, all the students are close and come out in droves to support each other in their sports, even in after school club activities. Works Here: Amazing teachers that care, small class sizes and a beautiful property! I have watched students grow into young adults and come out of their shell in the 3 years I have been here. Parent: I am so happy I made the decision to enroll my daughter in Clearwater Academy! They go from Preschool all the way through 12th grade and she has made friends of all ages. They are such a diverse school, with kids from so many countries, she is learning about all kinds of cultures and customs. When she started here, they put her on an individualized program so can progress at her own pace, which is great because she has just graduated Pre-Kindergarten 3 months earlier than predicted and went straight into the Kindergarten class without having to wait for her classmates. The energy and care of all the staff makes such a difference and it shows in the way she acts outside of school. It is also really great to be on the same schedule. Junior: I have been with Oldsmar Christian School for six years, and I am going into my senior year next school year! Right before I was going into sixth grade, my parents wanted me to go to a private school instead of a public school. They believed that I would have better education opportunities and academics compared to public schools. Looking back on my parents' decision, I think that it was worth it! Senior: Faith Outreach Academy is a small school, for example my graduating class is eight. Since the classes are so small it is easier for students to get more one on one time with the teacher during class time. Another benefit is the lunch options at the school. Parent: This school is AMAZING!!! From the first day when I visited and saw how the interaction between the students and staff exuded mutual respect and cooperation, then the first show I attended which gave me goosebumps for the camaraderie between the students of all ages. The positive changes I have seen in my own children as well as others over the past 4 years are due to the wonderful staff and what they teach by example. Recently, my daughter (14) was given the opportunity to paint her room with a couple of friends and the results were impressive. These 3 young ladies were able to do the job, start to finish and it looks great! Parent: I have two sons in this school for the second year. The atmosphere and academic teachings are excellent. Each staff member knows each student by name no matter who I come in contact with at the school they know my children! They attended another private school prior with the same curriculum and the difference in their learning at CCSA vs. other school is 100% better. They actually TELL me about what they have learned without me asking! There is a variety of activities (electives) for K-12 which is unheard of in other schools. Usually, only upper classes get electives. My kids are taking art, music, dance, sports, etc. during the school day, don't even have to do it as an after school activity! My daughter has attended since Kindergarten, and she is now a Junior, as she skipped 8th grade. The staff are very loving and kind; they go the extra mile to help students. For a small school, the student body is fairly diverse. Their are Asian, Black, and a number of Hispanic students. Niche User: Our grandchildren attend Guardian Angels and before them our son and daughter-in-law graduated there. This is truly an amazing school in every way.
