Parent: Pioneer Academy is a great school, both on the academic level and ethical level. It provided a safe and nourishing environment for both my kids, the elder of them attended Pioneer for the 4 years of high school and helped him a lot. He finished the school last year and now is enrolled in a highly ranked engineering college in New Jersey. My youngest son has been attending Pioneer since 3rd grade. He is now in 8th grade and enjoying the school with all that it offers, good teachers, great learning facilities, different sports activities and safe environment. Freshman: I live in Hackettstown, in Warren county, so I have to commute every morning(two trains and a bus), and I still could not ask for a better high school experience. The teachers are wonderful and accessible, the curriculum is rigorous but manageable, and the campus itself looks very nice. I play soccer, so I can only really speak on the quality of our soccer team, but I know that Seton Hall takes extreme pride in their sports, so whether you do football or rowing, track & field or swimming, soccer or lacrosse, the games will be competitive. Also, I've never tasted school lunch that was this good. Specifically, the bacon egg and cheese sandwiches are incredible and they also have other food like cheeseburgers, cake, smoothies, salads(also great), pies, and coffee. Parent: During the pandemic school year 2020-2021, we transferred our children-- ages 5, 9, 12-- into JKHA from the local public schools for what we assumed would be one-off year, as the public schools they were to attend were slated to begin the year fully remote. Now, a year later, we are thrilled that our children will CONTINUE to attend JKHA, as we were so impressed by the academic rigor of the school, which was superior, in our estimation, to our experience at Livingston Public Schools. The other quality of JKHA is the authentic warmth of the school itself, where our children--who had NOT had any experience learning in a Jewish day school at all-- received differentiated, personalized instruction. Senior: I have loved my experience at Mount St. Dominic. It has provided me with a great education i would have not gotten if it were not for this school. MSDA has provided me with great athletic and arts programs as well, making it really easy to get involved in the vibrant community. DePaul Catholic had great diversity and people from all economic backgrounds etc. The school is one of the most spirited schools in New Jersey hands down. Junior: Al ghazaly is a good school if you want your child to grow up in a strong Muslim community! The sense of community at this school really makes it like no other! However I would say that if you are looking for artistic opportunities or special needs services this school would not be my top choice. Niche User: Thank God for Immaculate Conception High School! During COVID , working parents are desperate to find a school that will strive to have students onsite . ICHS, in its usual way, has welcomed its students onsite with open arms this fall. The teachers and administrators are heroes. They are putting themselves at risk for the students (and the parents). Because of that, the students won't slide back as much as their public school peers, which will increase their chances of graduating and going on to college. In spite of COVID, all last year's seniors graduated and are now attending college, even though many are attending virtually.
