Senior: Bishop Kelly is a wonderful school that soars high in academics and community. Bishop Kelly works hard to instill the important value of kindness into their students. The school provides an endless stream of opportunities for student to pursue their interests and passions. They offer many students led clubs and athletic teams to participate with. Bishop Kelly also understands the importance of socialization which is why they have set up several areas throughout the school for students to hang out. Recently, someone generously donated a beautiful ebony coated grand piano to Bishop Kelly. The school gave this piano back to the students so that they can gather and share their musical abilities with each other. The teachers are also amazing. Most of my teachers make a daily effort to personally connect with a different student in every class. They want to see their students succeed and provide mountains of support. I feel very appreciated and cared for by Bishop Kelly and its teachers.... Read 220 reviews

Parent: Ambrose has been an incredible blessing to our family over the last nine years. Rather than a school we "send our kids to," Ambrose is a partner that comes alongside us in raising our children, both in academics and character. The quantitative data easily demonstrates Ambrose's academic excellence, but it doesn't adequately portray the love of learning that is cultivated by teachers who share their passion for knowledge with the students. Nor do the numbers express the development of character that fosters a "we before me" pursuit. So, yes, my children do love school. Yes, they have been taught to think deeply and speak well. And, yes, sometimes they do have to work hard in order to learn how to do hard things. But, more importantly, they have been surrounded by a community of supporting friends and loving teachers along their journey towards truth, beauty and goodness.... Read 92 reviews

Parent: We have been a CVCS family for over 6 years. This school truly partners with families to make the academic experience challenging and fulfilling for the student. The teachers are second to none and you can feel the love of God as you walk through the hallways. The students are shepherded spiritually the minute they walk through those doors with the love of teachers, administrators and God. We love our school!... Read 144 reviews

Junior: GWUOHS is a fantastic school! The teachers are supportive and always willing to help out students. Teachers provide all the materials and help needed for students that want it, but at the same time, they give independence to the student. From personal experience, I have always had attentive and very friendly teachers. The class connects allow for interactive learning and collaboration for classes and clubs. Clubs at GWUOHS are also a lot of fun and are primarily run by students. Students can start their own clubs with a teacher sponsor and structure them how they would like. In creating a club or being a leader in a club, teachers offer as much assistance as students want and are always there for advice and connecting students. GWUOHS also has opportunities to showcase leadership and skills to colleges through honor societies, student government, competitive scholarships, and more. I truly am lucky to attend GWUOHS and would not want to have my high school experience anywhere else!... Read 37 reviews

Parent: This school is an amazing place. It is safe, supportive, collaborative and creates an environment where students are free to explore their interests while developing their intellect and reasoning. The level of teachers they have in such a small environment is unreal. Students are working with true artists and professionals, experiences they couldn't get anywhere else. "More than just a school" is so much more than a motto!! My only wish is that the school was a little bigger, so that more students would have the opportunity to experience what it has to offer.... Middle School Student: This school shaped me into who I am today. The teachers at this school are all helpful and willing to push the students to succeed in their endeavors. There is a competitive atmosphere that isn't found in many other schools, which truly sets St. Joseph's apart from the rest. Based on the other schools in the area, I would say that, while expensive, St. Joseph's is the best elementary/middle school in Idaho.... Read 3 reviews

Parent: All of our children have attended St. Mary's School. We love the tight-knit community and it is the most ethnically and economically diverse of any of the Boise Catholic Schools. The Spanish literacy program is impressive. Each day starts with a prayer and a song in the gym which sets a grateful mood for all the students. The big kids know they are role-models to the little kids and help them along the way through the buddy program.... Read 1 review

Middle School Student: Foothills is a literature and arts based school. All classes are integrated into a central focus on critical thinking. The school has high aims that it achieves in its study of language but often fall short with music and other art forms. It’s “normal” classes, science and math, are about average. The school has connections and is able to provide pseudointerships and other incredibly useful resources. It is rather proud of itself in its uniqueness, somewhat deservedly so. The teachers are all excellent. This place is perfect environment to allow smart kids who don’t fit in to really learn what they love. There are no sports or sports facilities. There is sporadically food/catering as a substitute for dining. As the students age they are able to go out to lunch with less and less supervision in downtown Boise.... Read 1 review

Parent: I recommend Heroes Academy to anyone I meet! Why? Because Heroes Academy provides the type of environment and child-lead learning that I wanted for my kids, yet I didn’t know it existed until a few years ago. Heroes encourages every child to think and behave like a hero, not a victim, while embarking on a self-growth journey. They encourage every family and child to be proactive, begin with the end in mind, to hold themselves and others accountable and to high standards. It’s a place where children discover their own passions, gifts and begin to lead a meaningful and purposeful lives. I have seen incredible growth in all 4 of our children while attending. They have developed real life skills such as how to have a meaningful conversation with an adult; how to fail and get back up again; how to speak in front of a large crowd; how to begin finding a passion or start a small business, all without our help.... Parent: My kids have been going here for the last few years, starting with the 2016-2017 school year, and I myself volunteer in the classrooms several times a month. Academic standards are high, with a growing emphasis on project-based learning and STEM fields. Because it's a private school they are able to focus on the moral/spiritual development of the students as well. As of this writing (2019) the classrooms and playground are well-supervised with plenty of volunteer and paid part-time help. Highly recommended.... Read 1 review

Alum: Top notch faculty and administration, and a great appreciation for global international thinking and performance. The school emphasizes the importance of independent thinking and expression, while still maintaining a strong sense of community. Veritas allowed me to grow into the person I am today. It put me in challenging situations that have benefitted me overall and put me on the path to success. One of my most unique experiences: while at Veritas, I had an opportunity to study abroad at the campus in Beijing. What an experience! I highly recommend my alma mater. #alwaysaspartan... Sophomore: I was hesitant with the choice to transfer my schooling to online and to ICL Academy. Will I learn? Will I have friends? The list goes on and on, but my concerns are no longer relevant following my first year of online schooling at ICL. I am shocked by my level of consistently motivated spirit to learn. I can confidently give the credit to the applicableness of my learning. I can easily relate it to myself. I am amazed by the increased efficiency during school time; through a good balance of structured learning, and freedom when necessary. Everyone has different needs and schedules. Icl does a tremendous job with flexibility. For example, I found I had some extra time during the day, so I enrolled in a college level psychology class and two more rigorous classes at they're sister school: Dwight Global. Most importantly, the community is amazing. Almost everyone participates on a high level, and there is no shortage of thoughts and opinions being dished out in class. 10/10 rec to ICl!...
