Parent: Salem Academy has been a great opportunity for my daughter. Salem Academy provided a rigorous academic schedule tailor made for my child. Parent: Forsyth Country Day School has consistently “hit it out of the park”! I truly believe it has been a life changing experience for my daughter. FCDS meets the individual needs of the student, supporting them academically, athletically, and through leadership and service opportunities while simultaneously creating a community of wellness and belonging. The Johnson Academic Center provides one-on-one support during the school day for those children who academically need it. The impact of the FCDS faculty, staff and JAC on my child cannot be understated. FCDS’s vision for the future will be transformative for their students and education as a whole. Junior: I have been at Bishop McGuinness for all 3 years of my high school career. I have had a positive experience being a student here. I have participated in both JV volleyball and soccer, and have had a lot of fun. The teachers here are very passionate about our educations and make sure that they are teaching to the best of their ability. Over the years, I have become a more stressed and anxious person because of the workload of all my classes. However, that is my own fault because students are able to choose whatever classes they want. Works Here: Winston-Salem Christian School is a wonderful community of people who love the Lord and people. It is an excellent school that focuses on academics, diversity, sports, and relationship. It is a family of people who come together to uplift students and further their education through dedication, prayer, and support. On top of it, students are receiving a biblical-based foundation. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." This is exactly what we do here! Parent: Salem has been a game changer for my child. The teachers are good but there are standouts. When a problem did arise after my child had a sever injury, the administration stepped in and we adapted to the situation day by day. Their ability to connect, listen to the students and find solutions is remarkable. While the sports here are great, there are other areas for the students to get involved. Alum: Union Grove Christian School was a very unique school that I experienced compared to the public school options, but I loved every bit of the experience. Senior: I found Woodland Baptist Christian School to be a great place to grow up when it comes to Christian education. The best part of my experience there (and it still will be) is engaging in joyful and willing conversations with my teachers and fellow students, and much can be learned from their advice. The teachers are clearly dedicated and qualified—they make our son feel loved and safe, and he is learning at exactly the pace we hoped for. Communications are reliable, timely, and detailed—we never feel in the dark about anything. Leadership is competent and trustworthy—we know that there is a clear vision and plan in place for the growth of all children.
