She felt welcomed from the first time we visited thru her entire time so far even though her friends were going to school elsewhere. We couldn't be happier with our choice as our child is thriving academically as well as with her extracurricular activities. When looking for that match for our daughter, we wanted a place she could feel comfortable, grow, learn, be involved in activities and excel academically. Don’t hesitate. This is the place. Alum: I attended Ryan for my senior year only and wished the entire time I came my freshman year so I could get the full experience. The school itself holds so much character and all the administration do their best to make the students feel accepted and happy. I say every school has room to improve and among renovating the locker rooms and adding a track to the back (which are in the process of being done!) the biggest problem I had was the condition the bathrooms went through with many crazy students, but other than that Id say the school is a 10/10! Alum: My experience at Archbishop Wood was overall a great experience. The culture at the school is my favorite part of the school. There is more economic diversity at this school than most of the other PCL schools in the area, and it contributes to a less stuck-up culture, in comparison to La Salle and Prep. There is a sense of grit within the student body and I love it, the school definitely acts on this competitiveness through their athletics. I was a member of the Football Team and over 10 extracurriculars at the school. If you seek it out, there is something for you at this school, trust me. The new counseling department and the curriculum prepared me for college, I am enrolled at a nationally-ranked Liberal Arts College and I have to thank Wood part of my success. You don't realize till you leave how much you will miss a place, and I truly feel this with Wood. Junior: I am a junior (about to be a Senior) at Father Judge High School. I would give my time at Father Judge a 4.5/5 stars. During this year, it was a mostly positive experience. In terms of classes, teachers, students, and clubs, it feels perfect. While the school doesn't accommodate all majors, it prepares me for the next level in my nursing career. The students are friendly, the teachers are very helpful and sincere, and the classes are interesting to me. Even though the school size is small, the amount of clubs and sports they have is great. My only complaint is the food can be very inconsistent at times but going to Father Judge is well worth the tuition. The school has low teacher turnover, there is an 8 year difference between my children and they both had the same teachers. The Kindergarten teacher has over 30 years experience at Childtowne!
