The combination of intellectual skills, athletic ability, and leadership traits present in the study body is remarkable. The tops students attend, the top athletes and the top leaders. You are truly surrounded by exceptional people. The institution is grounded in rich history and has stayed true to its mission over the course of its long existence. The administrators faculty and staff are very supportive of Culver‘s mission and the varying endeavors of students. The amount of money annually Culver receives from alumni and parents is a testament to the life-changing experience Culver is for majority of students. Freshman: This school is excellent! I am currently a freshman and i have never felt more at home. There is however a concern that there are not in enough AP courses. I do not find this a problem because if you take advantage of the ones given to you colleges will acknowledge that. Junior: The school has been nothing but extraordinary. It is one which gives a vast span academic rigor and the 11:1 student-faculty ratio gives an amazing opportunity for one-on-one student teacher time. The teachers and staffing do everything with student success in mind. Not only this, but there are many times throughout the day built in for students to meet with teachers in subject offices, complete homework or socialize. The school does an amazing job of providing a great balance between work and fun. With students constantly attending sporting events, club meetings and other school led activities, the different grade levels are able to interact. Also, it is not super religious. Students can participate in relies events at their choice. The school offers amazing scholarship opportunities and highly ranked athletic teams (2021-22 W. Volleyball, M. Soccer, M. Senior: My whole life I knew I was going to attend Andrean. I have had countless cousins that have gone through Andrean and are now Alumnis. Honestly, I anticipated Andrean to be like any other school. The only thing I expected to get from Andrean was a diploma at the end of my four years. Senior: I came to Bishop Noll in the Fall of 2020, this was the year of Covid, and I was so scared to start high school. Bishop Noll welcomed me into their school with open arms, they made changes to the school to keep their students safe and still allow us to get a high level of education. My second year at Bishop Noll, they made some changes with the Covid-19 rules, we were able to go mask-less and play sports without masks. They started new clubs, sports, and classes with this new freedom. My junior and senior year I was able to take DC and AP classes, the teachers helped mentor me so I could put my best effort in each assignment, test, and project that I took. With the rigorous classes provided at Bishop Noll, I am fully prepared for the challenges that college classes will have. The diversity in our school is also a huge part of my readiness for college. Senior: I have been attending LCA ever since I was in second grade. As a senior now, I’ve seen some benefits as well as some things that need to change. One thing I love about my school is the class sizes. With only 20 students in my grade, it helps us to connect to each other. I know everyone’s name, not just in my class but in the whole school, and everyone knows my name as well. Being in class where you know everyone provides a safe-feeling learning environment where you don’t feel judged. My class has always said, ever since elementary, that we are tight knit, like family who are always there for each other. I cherish that but that doesn’t make it perfect. There are parts of my school that I’d like to see change. My school struggles with money management. I think it would be beneficial for them to spend money on buying new textbooks because some of ours are outdated.
