Senior: Bolles is an excellent school with amazing opportunities in all areas. The teachers and advisors truly care for you and your success and will do anything to help you. The majority of the students are amazing people allowing for deep connections. If you do not get involved and put yourself out there you will waste the thousands of dollars it costs to attend. Sophomore: I have really enjoyed my time at Bishop Kenny. I have been able to take honors courses and join clubs/teams. I am heavily influenced by my Algebra 1 Honors teacher, Ms. Zumwalt, because she is such an inspiration for me. She looks out for her students and really helps you strive to be your best self. Another teacher that has really impacted me is Ms. Merrill. She gave me a good foundation for my future science classes during my freshman year biology class. She helped me get involved in the ambassador program and encouraged me to apply. I appreciate all of my teachers that I have had. I am always inspired and striving to be my best self because of the people and standard at Bishop Kenny. Sophomore: I have had a great high school experience so far and Harvest Community school is amazing. The school admin is great at making sure they have one on one relationships with everyone. I love that it’s so small but there are also some downsides to it being so small like there is more drama and it’s harder to have good teachers in everything. The admin is lacking in communication though. There have been several instances where I wasn’t told information I needed to know. Parent: University Christian School is a great place to have your children excel in their learning by incorporating traditional curriculum with a Biblical world view and how to prepare our young adults and children for real world situations. The classes are smaller size than the average public school which works well for teachers and students in developing a cohesive learning environment. Personally, I have witnessed a significant growth and improvement in both of my children while attending this school. Alum: I am an alumni at Christ's Church Academy. I went there when it was called Mandarin Christian (sad they changed the name) and was there from 4th-8th grade. They did not have a highschool at the time I attended. I absolutely adore this school. My fondest memories in life are from walking the halls, hanging out with friends, eating lunch with my mom, playing sports, gym class, you name it. I had the best time of my life there. Because I had such a great experience with the staff, kids, sports, etc...I have decided to send both my children there. My son is going into kindergarten this fall (2022) and I have an 8 month old that ill put in their daycare when he turns 2. I am sad/happy they will be at a new campus as I wanted to share those same moments with my son at the old school. Other: Cornerstone Christian School is a school for students of all ages (preschool-12th). I have been at Cornerstone since the 7th grade and I have learned more than what I assume most students would in middle and high school. Cornerstone is not only a school but the staff members will help you feel as if you are family, and that is what I love the most. The classes are small with the amount of 16-20 students in each classroom, so the attention is towards each student. Though, there are down sides to this school ! Certainly half of the teachers has favoritism, and staff members treat each other poorly. It is as clear as day that Cornerstone Christian School focuses more on applying the rules and discipline than giving the students an actual education. Since my freshman year of high school at Cornerstone, I have been working hard on teaching myself the work that is given. Senior: My experiences with Seacoast Christian Academy was an ongoing turmoil. Till first start off well when i was in middle school but after covid that when everything went downhill. I had gotten closer to God before covid came out and was extremely enjoying myself at the school. High School came around and the school disappointed me in the worst way ever. Teachers weren't actually teaching and if they were it wouldn't be consistent, or they would just make us watch videos. I was never given the opportunity to take AP classes because they didn't provide it, plus all of the classes at Seacoast were all standard so I was done with the majority of my class by 10th grade. Parent: My husband and I enrolled our child in NCA after moving to Florida a few years ago (during the height of COVID epidemic). We found the private school, which is affiliated with Northside Baptist Church, online, and in doing so found more than a school for our child. We found a new church family. For three years, our son has attended elementary grade classes. We've watched the school (and the pre-school across the street) grow, and there's no doubt why. The administration, teachers, and staff are incredible! They're caring, hard-working, and dedicated to help educate the students. We've seen awesome improvements made to the facilities and resources.
