Senior: My experience at Heritage Christian school has been very rewarding. Being a part of this school has taught me to love God above all. I've learned what it is to be responsible and follow the rules and standards of the school in order to be successful in the working world. Heritage has taught me to be considerate and respectful of others. It has helped me to accomplish myself in many areas. Their curriculum has helped me to challenge myself and in turn has benefited me intellectually. I believe they have prepared me enough to enter into this new chapter in my life. My high school years have been very rewarding and I not only was able to be successful in my different subject, but I also had the opportunity to engage in their sports and drama programs which I have enjoyed to the max. Even though I must be honest, their strict rules were challenging for me, but as I matured I understood that it was all in preparation for my future.

Senior: My experience with Southland Christian School has been really good and memorable. I’ve been enrolled to this school since 6th grade and right now I’m finally graduating there. I love the administration and activities they have. I love how they teach you to have a relationship with God and how to handle life. I really recommend checking the school out. The Abeka education is really good and advanced. I learned a lot from this education. Southland has a really good sports department and also music/ theater department. I have great memories with those departments. The food that the school gives is really delicious and also the lunch room is a good average size. The teachers at Southland are really nice and I love how they connect with the students and try to help us out as much as possible. Administration as well love to help out families in need. Like I said I do recommend looking into Southland Christian School and know for yourself how great of a school it is.

Niche User: An amazing environment that encouraged me to grow spiritually and physically. When my family and I first moved to Florida we were in desperate need of a school that could fit our needs. We quickly found City of Life Christian Academy and enrolled immediately. The time that my brother and I spent here was safe to say, very formative. We volunteered in extracurricular activities and quickly because of the safe environment found our spot in the flow of things. After graduating I look back at the years I spent here with only fond memories or the staff and fellow students.

High School Junior: The thing is that since it is a small environment you really get to know your class and sooner or later your class will end up becoming another family. All the teachers in Holy Redeemer are really nice you also get to know your teachers really good and you start a connection that will help you during your years in Holy Redeemer. But to me I think the most important thing is that Holy Redeemer is all about Christ during the time that I was there that was the time that I got really close to Christ.

Senior: I've been at this school for about 7 years and I've seen how this school grew from students in a classroom from 10 students to a whole class of seniors. I've learned so much here at school. the students and teachers amazing as well. I've been here since sixth grade and now im upcoming to my senior year. This school shows you so much especially from the perspective of the Bible.

Senior: I’ve been attending this school since I was in middle school. What I like about this school is being able to talk and learn about God freely. The teachers are amazing. I love how spiritual they are, they’re like family to me. It is definitely a bully-free school. I’ve grown spiritual stronger and found out exactly who I am attending this school. On the academic side, it is still a great school. This school definitely prepares you for college. The teachers are there to help if you need help. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone!

Parent: Because of our universalist approach to God, I was nervous about the Seventh Day aspects of this school. However, what they teach that is God is love, and I am okay with that. The school is definitely more advanced than the local public school and instruction is "leveled" in class for different stages of learning. More importantly, our child feels challenged and loved every single day at school. There have been concerns about some teacher quality, leadership and supervision during recess, but the school is still small enough that those are manageable with communication.

Parent: For those who have the education to know what the Montessori teaching method consists of, they know that it is based on following the child. "Following the child" does not mean "letting the child do what they want". In a Montessori environment, freedom implies that children can follow their internal impulse and participate in the work necessary for their self-development. Allowing this freedom is "love with respect to the child's own internal signals." All this makes children independent and capable of creating by themselves. This base will help them for life. My daughter is in this school and I honestly don't think there is a better one for our children in all of Florida. Maybe I exaggerate, but I have not seen. Not only because of the methodology, but because of the love and respect that I see in the teachers towards the children, and the way they teach them peace. 100% recommended. I still in love with this school. Parents can participate a lot in their activities. I love it!

Parent: We are are new family to Basis McLean but so far loving it!
I know there has been administrative instability in the past but the quality of the teaching and small class size is outstandingly fabulous. My daughter is so motivated, it is wonderful to see.

If your focus is sports, this is not the school for you. But if your focus is academics and a love a learning, I believe this school is working very well.

We are happy we switched from FCPS, despite the cost esp. as the school offers in-person teaching during this pandemic which has been essential for my child's growth and wellbeing.
