Senior: My experience at Mercersburg has transformed me academically, personally, and spiritually. The faculty here are so devoted to us as students in all aspects of life here such as the dorm, in academics, and in our extracurricular endeavors. All of my teachers inspire me and challenge me to think and grow as a student. The academics are rigorous, yet all students are provided with many resources for help and support. It is really easy to get involved here and be an active participant in our community. There are so many clubs and activities where student initiative is highly encouraged. Senior: As a senior, I can look back on my high school experience and say that it was good! I have had very positive experiences with some very well-educated teachers that I learned from and retained information from. I have had, and have observed others having, a very positive experience with the students at CVCS. Not everyone at our Christian school is a Christian, but, for example, in the way new students are accepted into friend groups, there is evidence that our school is different from your average public school. Our school has a great program for sports, in which many students are participants. Music and art are not as popular, but I think our school does a good job making sure that those who are interested are not forgotten. For changes, I would strengthen the student-wide Christian faith in our school, as well as the individual student's love for the Lord, so that we would become an even better example of Jesus' love to other schools, other people, and our whole community.... Senior: My parents enrolled my siblings and me at Shalom Christian Academy because it challenged us more than previous schools had and the teachers, faculty, fellow students and parents, coaches, and more created an inviting community for us to thrive in. Shalom Christian Academy holds a sense of community far deeper than any other one I have known and continues to cultivate this community inside the classroom and outside school hours on the court, fundraisers, events, and more. The best experience from my time at Shalom is not a single event, but rather my collective sophomore and junior years. Community was expressed deeply in these school years when I was struggling personally, on the volleyball court, and in my classes as each one of my friends and teachers stepped up to make me feel supported and cared for. Senior: Global Vision Christian School is where I got to open up so much opportunities I could not exploit before. To be honest, I was very hesitant to attend GVCS because of its long distance and the very fact that I had to leave my parents. But I wanted to take the given opportunity to study in a good environment where not only academics were regarded high but the spiritual value also. Being a GVCS student, I learned that interactions within the community was what conceived exceptional friendships and the loving and caring atmosphere helped me grow not only outwardly but outwardly also. I am also grateful on the school's focus to foster us students as global leaders and I have experienced this value in hand by their endeavors for us to experience different cultures as much as possible. They are very much open to the opinions of students and let us exploit new things such as new clubs and activities.
