Sophomore: I love the environment. It’s an incredibly diverse place. Everyone has a place there. The students are amazing and the teachers are definitely qualified for the job. They always respond quickly and teach amazingly. The school has so many resources that I can’t even count them all. They especially have a great college prep course. They constantly remind you and tell you to do research on colleges and to study for the past. Regarding the P-sat, they have many prep classes for it. Clubs and activities are a big part of the school. After-school, there’s constantly students on campus. If you think of any club, chances are that they have one. They have a great fine arts program. Classes range from guitar to dance and theater.Now for math and science they have specialized math competition classes and a pre-medical program. Senior: I love North Broward! The students who attend are super welcoming as well as the teachers. My favorite as a student was dissecting a fetal pig in anatomy class. I am super interested in science and that dissection truly made me want to go into surgery. At North Broward, I have been given many opportunities to become a leader in our school community. I am on leadership teams of multiple clubs and honors societies. I also got to lead a few events, my favorite being the Arbor Day Celebration National Honors Society had brought to our school. This past year was the first time this event was held and I had gotten the opportunity to lead it. We passed out 1000 bald cypress trees to the entirety of the high school in order to recognize and celebrate Arbor day. Alum: Cardinal Gibbons is a great environment where it truly feels like you are surrounded by family. Religion is the forefront, but they don't discriminate against people who aren't catholic. Junior: My experience with NUIA was one with many milestones and achievements. I have been at that school for approximately 5 years and will continue to be there for my senior year. Since NUIA functions as a K-12 school, it functions as another family for students. Junior: I liked Sheridan Hills Christian School because the teachers care about their students. They show compassion and never make you feel less than you are.
