Parent: The admistration is highly productive. They did not lose a day of teaching in the pendemic. They has no expereince for the online teaching before the covid hited us. Right after the spring break, online lessons were started as a half day program on Monday. On Wednesday, they switched to a whole day class to fully engage students. They never missed the summer camp and even open the campus much earlier than most other schools still did not know how to open their campus. It truely respect people's choice & rights. Never force anyone to be vacinnated. They teach kids critical thinking by allow them to listen to all perspectives instead of teaching kids to one direction which would altimatly destoy the country. Teachers are really caring about kids and would approach parents regarding how to help the kids become better. Not the fake love elsewhere. Great school with true loves, caring and common sense. Alum: I loved my time at Maimonides! The school ensures that students leave with a great education in both Judaic and Secular studies. The classes are taught by wonderful, devoted teachers who build strong relationships with the students. The personal interactions are a unique feature of this school that can make any student feel comfortable. Maimonides has built a culture where the students support each other while also challenging each other to achieve the most that they can. Parent: I was lucky enough to attended Delphi as a child growing up, and last month my toddler started there! The same things I loved about Delphi long ago are still present and thriving. The teachers are enthusiastic and passionate about learning and make every single day fun. The small class sizes allow for a strong nurturing relationship between staff and student, and my child feels welcomed and loved already. I appreciate that Delphi's reading program teaches students to read at such a young age and provides them with a genuine love for learning. It isn't forced upon them and that was something I loved when I went- I became a strong independent learner which helped me through college and into my career. Many of the staff that worked there when I was young are still present- which means a lot in this day and age. Alum: I attended Sage a while ago for about 10 years and it was the most wonderful place to grow up in. I always felt supported by teachers and classmates, and while our grades were very small in size, there were tons of opportunities to become friends with students in other grades, and the student population was relatively diverse. Teachers really cared about students and their academic and social well-being, I'd say the only thing was that classes were so small that it felt like every teacher knew everything about me and my friends, which only became a little awkward in middle school. Overall, however, I felt engaged, loved the students, loved almost every teacher I had, did after school clubs (there were no sports there at the time, i'm not sure if there are now) and look back on my time there as idyllic. Middle School Student: I love Park. It is a great school with absolutely incredible teachers. The campus is beautiful and there are many sports and other extracurricular activity options. Parent: We have been a part of the Saint Agatha Community since last year, while it also went under an Administration change. It is such a safe and nurturing learning environment that our children enjoy going to every day. We came from a school with bullying issues that were being ignored. We were so pleased when our child came home to say they spent the first week of school learning about "how to treat our friends". The values that they instill daily and practice are essential. We have younger children and all of the older children are always saying Hi to them with high fives and making them feel so special. The teachers and faculty are absolutely incredible and loved by our children. The parent community is so strong and supportive. Parent: Our family has been very happy at Tenacre. The school has a very warm and welcoming community. My kids are thriving and couldn't be happier. The teachers have all been wonderful, engaged and responsive. The specials, including science and technology, are very strong. Newly renovated facilities include a beautiful science center, dining hall and performing arts center. There is a strong focus on helping kids learn to be good citizens in their greater community. Niche User: Teachers and administrators work very hard here with not as many resources as other school. There is a want and a drive to revamp the after-school acticities and sports programs within the school, but there just doesn't seem like their is enough students and funding to make this a reality. This very hard working admininstration would make this school thrive if they were able to get the funding for the things they need. They include the entire staff in important decision and listen to everyone's ideas and try to come up with the best solutions. Many times staff members have had excellent idea but the administration had to veto them because of the lack of funding the school receives. The only flaw I see with the adminstration is they sometimes allow families to drive some of the decision that should be made internally within the building. I believe with more enrollment and funding they wouldn't need to cater as much to the families when it is not necessary. Overall a WONDERFUL school!... Read 3 reviews
