Senior: Casady School is not just an institution of education; it's a community. I know everyone in my grade by first and last name. I'm comfortable going up and asking any teacher (even the ones I haven't had!) a question. Each high school teacher actually specializes in what they teach- unlike most other schools. I can ask a teacher a question not about the coursework, but about the general field of study and they will have immense knowledge on it. I have not had a teacher that I didn't like at Casady. Ever. The coursework is definitely rigorous, but the teachers there are willing to sit down one on one and explain it with you. Although the sports aren't great, the coaches are encouraging, uplifting, and enjoy being with us. The music department is fantastic, I believe the orchestra has won superior for 8 years straight now. The food is good. The campus is clean, and pretty. Casady is truly amazing.... Read 108 reviews

Junior: On the Heritage Hall campus, everyone is extremely kind, helpful, and cares for the well being of others. Senior: I have gone to RCDS for 4 and a half years, and as a senior, I can confidently say that it has changed the progression of my academic career. Before Riverfield, I attended a large public school and struggled with its institutional learning model. I took a lot more time to complete assignments than my peers and did not have the proper tools to succeed. At Riverfield, my learning and work ethic flourished under teachers who cared, and I believe that I am a better student because I came to this school. Aside from core academics, Riverfield has an excellent arts and music program (expanded with a new facility this fall), college preparatory support for 10th-12th grade students, and an experiential learning model that allows students to thrive. School spirit tends to decline the older students get, but everyone is generally welcoming and inclusive. Senior: Bishop Kelley is a truly special place. I Transferred to Bishop Kelley to start Sophomore year. So, yes, I was at one point the "new girl." But I never felt like the new girl. Because of the amazing environment that BK is, I felt like I was just where I was supposed to be. Since being at Bishop Kelley the past three years, I've made my best friends, developed great relationships with teachers, administrators, and coaches. I wouldn't have wanted any other high school experience other than the one I got as being a Kelley Comet. Since going to school there, I've become well acquainted with Fr. Duy, our chaplain and priest. Father Duy guides students weekly to help the community sand give back. Our campus Ministry hosts various retreats every school year for students to attend in order to grow themselves personally, but also spiritually. Bishop Kelley is truly Home. Senior: Augustine Christian Academy is a school dedicated to teaching students how to learn and not just what to learn through a classical education style. It’s a smaller Christian school which allows the students to really bond with each other and build relationships and friendships that last a lifetime. Something about ACA that makes it unique is our House system. It is inspired by European boarding schools and all students from grades 9 through 12 are divided into four Houses based off of their character traits. These Houses participate in competitions in order to win and be the House of Honor for that Quarter. Senior: As a current senior in Mercy School, I can say that I have enjoyed my experience at the school and have learned many things while being here. First things first, this school is an Islamic School and with that being said, you would have to be Muslim to attend the academic establishment. The school offers various tools such as Quran memorization, the Arabic language, and in-depth lessons on Shariah Law. The school is k-12, so there are children of all ages that attend the school. Students are respectful to school staff and to other students, making the overall atmosphere absolutely superb. The school offers a variety of different activities such as soccer teams for the lower grades and the National Honor Society for higher grades. Junior: After my freshman year at another school I realized that I didn’t fit in at all in any kind of way, I wasn’t good at football, I didn’t know how to meet knew people, and I could get the sense that my teachers didn’t particularly care about their jobs aside from a specific few. I had made the decision close to the end of the year to switch to Mount St Mary. At first I was nervous and was shy and didn’t talk to people all that much. Until I was approached by strangers who I now call my family. I love it at the Mount and now wonder what my life would’ve been if I never decided to transfer. Its a very welcoming place and everyone feels like an brother or sister in some kind of fashion. The teachers care more about the grades but they also care about you and your growth as a person in society, leaving me with teacher and student connections I never could’ve dreamed of. Parent: I attended CBA as a student in the 90s. The training I received made me who I am today. I gained confidence in who God created me to be, developed leadership & speaking skills, reinforced a strong work ethic, and learned time management. In addition, I had tremendous opportunities to become my best in athletics, academics, and music. Because of the preparation at CBA, I also earned 4 years of free college tuition. Parent: The school is based on Christian faith and all teachers and majority of students are Christian. The ratio of teacher to students is about 10 to 1. Overall small students body which has positive( closer community ) and negative(small option for extra curriculums) sides. The school offers concurrent courses during school hours through Oklahoma Christian University. Relatively speaking, a student can have several benefits(concurrent tuitions and saving times ) On the other hands, no AP courses are offered so it will be "give and take". If you are looking for very competitive academic curriculums, either you have to do a lot of extra works after school or look somewhere else. Senior: I have gone to Metro Christian Academy since kindergarten, and there is truly nothing like it! The teachers and administration are fantastic and have the students' best interests at heart. When all grades, from P-3 to 12th, are in the same building, a strong sense of community is built, and otherwise unlikely connections/friendships flourish. Not only are the academics unmatched, the athletics and extracurricular opportunities are also beyond compare of other private schools in the area.
