Senior: Petra Academy has been an amazing and life changing experience. The small class sizes allows students to really get to know their teachers, and the opportunity to learn from former college professors and other incredibly intelligent teachers makes for a great experience. The students at Petra are motivated, competitive, and kind. I have made incredible friends at Petra, and I also realize that its accelerated curriculum has given me a head start into college. However, while there are many things I do appreciate about Petra, I do also lament that it has almost no options for extracurricular activities, forcing students to look elsewhere for information regarding their interests. The faculty and staff are very helpful, and will aid you however they can in pursuing your goals, but the lack of resources for extracurricular learning nonetheless hampers Petra's ability to help direct their students towards their interests.
