Alum: I went to Randolph from 7-12th grade and loved my time there. The academics are rigorous but foster a spirit of curiosity that I have carried with me through graduate school. I felt thoroughly prepared when I went to college and was a step ahead of many of my collegiate peers. The small class sizes allow for you to really get to know teachers and be able to access them whenever you need. I was able to also participate in athletics and the arts and never felt hindered in any of those activities. One of my favorite parts of Randolph is Interim - a week before spring break used for experiential learning. You can travel across the world or stay in Huntsville and volunteer or job shadow - there are plenty of opportunities for everyone! I cannot recommend Randolph enough.... Read 89 reviews

Senior: During my time so far at Saint John Paul II Catholic High School, I have been provided with many opportunities that I would not have been provided with at my local public school. At this high school, I have been provided with a more rigorous education, which has provided me with a better overall education and the ability to solve real-world problems through critical thinking. Additionally, since I go to a smaller school I have been encouraged to try out new sports such as golf and football; both are sports that I now play today and have grown to love. Furthermore, for my senior year at this high school, I will be serving as commissioner of our student government. This position is the highest position that a student can hold and has provided me with a lot of leadership experience. However, my passion for sports is not found in many of my peers at this high school, and we often have a low student involvement in our athletics program which is something I would like to see change.... They go above and beyond to help them meet their goals, provide extra help if needed, and to engage in their academic and spiritual lives. The school recently added new learning tracks for high school including medical, engineering, and several more. My student has taken college level classes and felt very prepared. Senior: I started attending WCA in the 10th grade. The only real problem I had with WCA was their lack of AP classes or Honors classes; however, they have opened up their academic options tremendously in the last few years. Athletics are an incredibly important aspect of the school and I even played volleyball for a year and enjoyed it a lot. WCA also has a lot of community service opportunities, which I love. WCA has a lot of different clubs and we meet on Wednesday mornings; it's a fun way to connect with other students. The teachers are very personal and willing to help their students in any way they can and that makes school less of a burden. There's also chapel every other Thursday morning and optional Bible studies that make worship and praise really fun. Overall, I give WCA a 4/5 and I would recommend attending it.... Read 64 reviews

Sophomore: If I had to pick a historical figure to bring back from the dead it would be Maya Angelou. When I first heard about Angelou I never really considered or knew about the impact she had on the world until I heard her words.When I heard about her death in 2015, I was devastated. Alum: I loved the small class sizes. I was able to receive a lot of personal attention with subjects that were more difficult, such as maths and sciences. Senior: While attending at Athens Bible School, I have met many wonderful Christian examples. The administration is very hands on and each faculty member makes it their goal to ensure that every student grows, not only academically, but also spiritually. Each day begins with Chapel and Bible class, because spiritual growth is infinitely more important than academic progress. Many subjects provide the opportunity to receive college credit through the Dual Enrollment program, along with receiving a high school credit as well. Many students are involved in the sports programs at Athens Bible School. The coaches take special care to teach their players good sportsmanship, even if a game isn't going how they want it to. I look forward going to school each day and spending time with my friends, as well as attending practices and other extracurricular activities. Parent: I'm reviewing our K4 experience since that's all I have: Highly recommend, just go ahead and do it! Academics: My preschooler can now read full words/simple sentences & write his/others' full names. He can count to 100 by 5s & 10s & do basic addition. He had Spanish, PE, computer, library, art, & music classes every week, plus chapel on Fridays. Environment: He bonded so well to his teacher, who was sweet, attentive, & fun. When we pass the school building, he says, "Hi, school! I love you!" which means a lot to me. We had 2 field trips to a farm & a zoo. Kona Ice trucks came to the playground around once a month. He leads prayer confidently in public because they all take turns daily in class. Security: They have multiple armed men working security at each campus during school! These are military veterans, ex-police, etc. who are a calm, comforting presence. Sports: Sign up for t-ball in the spring! Senior: Hi! My name is Natalia Marr. I am 17 years old, graduating class of 2023. I have been attending Oakwood Adventist Academy for 12+ years. I have decently seen the growth. I have had the privilege to see Oakwood from being almost to having nothing, to see them build a cafeteria, a gym, and recently a new High School. I experience support from my friends, teachers and the community. When we see someone fall or feel unmotivated, the teachers find every way possible to be of service to them. No we are not perfect. But as a Seventh-Day-Adventist school, Oakwood seeks and puts the children of God first. Are there things about this school I wish could change? Yes. I wish Oakwood could lower the cost of tuition. I am a senior and I have a younger sister who is a junior. Together that is 14,000 for the year and it is hard. No not everybody's tuition is the same, but just imagine how it is for those who have 3-5 children. It's a struggle. This is why I think the school should lower tuition.... Read 59 reviews
