Alum: I am an alum of the class of 2021. I attended Episcopal for 7 years. I switched from Episcopal from a highly rated public school. The facilities at Episcopal are unmatched by other high schools both academic and athletic. While the facilities are unbelievable, Episcopal is made special by the of the staff of the students. Everything I experienced at Episcopal was amazing with the exception of the administration. The administration does not think through a lot of decisions and is not respected by the students and a lot of parents because of the incompetence. Other than the current administration tearing down what previous administrations have built alongside a great community of students and alumni, the school is unmatched by any high school in the area and a lot of universities.... Alum: The Dunham School is a great place for young people to be accepted by their peers and thrive in the classroom. Senior: While some might scoff at the idea of attending an all-girls private high school, St. Joseph's Academy provides students with four years surrounded by an atmosphere of love, community, and school spirit! While the academics are challenging, they are balanced by fun. There is a plethora of clubs to choose from, and simply stepping onto the campus can make you feel uplifted. The administrators and teachers are always there to greet you with a smile, and they love to join in on the school's fun activities too! For example, we have "Fun Days" organized by our school's student council each month. Senior: Catholic High is a great school, in my experience I played lacrosse and participated in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes club. As a lacrosse player we have gone to state twice and we won state last year. I have had many great experiences at Catholic High School but nothing compares to the attention you get as a student from the teachers and faculty. Parent: My daughter had been attending this school since she was 2 years old. I've seen how far she had grown in knowledge and structure thanks to the teaching staff. The teachers are very sweet and patient when helping out with different subjects. Not to mention, the website is very resourceful given that it provides information for each grade level segment. Each time I had a question regarding extracurricular activities, events and enrollment, I got a quick response in the clear way possible. My daughter will be graduating from Pre-K in two months and there are not enough words to describe how thankful I am that the overall assessment of this school is excellent! Senior: I transferred to St. Micheal High School in 2020. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made. During my time at St. Michael, I played many sports and participated in clubs and the arts. The academics here are exceptional. Before transferring, I never knew what education I was missing out on. St. Micheal has one of the best academic programs and excellent teachers support who support it. During my time at St. Michael, I made many lifelong friends and memories. One thing that I would like to see changed is the arts programs. The arts programs have great potential but need more support from the school and money. But, overall, St. Michael is a wonderful school that I would highly recommend to anyone! The academics, staff, and students are outstanding and make every day at school delightful. Parent: CP has been the best decision for our family. Our son has been there since pre-k 3 and moving into 6th grade next year. We could not have asked for a better educational experience for him. His teachers have genuinely loved him, while also teaching valuable life skills to go along with his great faith-based education. The school offers so much more than an education that we as parents simply did not have growing up. We have been a part of the CP family since the great floods of 2016 and know the struggles all of us faced during those times. It is amazing to see God’s work bringing this school from a scattered campus occupying 3 different churches to a brand new school campus with state of the art technology. Alum: The thing that I liked about Cristo Rey Baton Rouge Franciscan HS was the corporate work-study program that gave high school students the experience to go out into the work field once a week.
