New York City Geographic District No. 8
#519 Best Places to Teach in New York
- School District
- Bronx, NY
Alum: I really enjoyed district 8 while in school because whenever I'd do good work I would be recognized for it. One time the district was nice enough to send me a diploma. Which was very encouraging. Something they could change is the amount of students per classroom.

Junior: St. Anthony's High School has given me the best three years of my life so far. The only thing I dislike about school, is waking up in the morning! The teaching staff are great, except for the math department. St. Anthony's pushes kids and heavily prepares them for college. The subject of college is constantly brought to the kids' attentions. St. Anthony's is also very diverse. Many kids are involved in school activities, like clubs, sports, and fine arts. There is a place for everyone at St. Anthony's. The one thing I would change at St. Anthony's, are the mean librarians. They don't let anyone print out anything, or let kids into the library if they don't have any schoolwork.
