Alum: Amherst Middle School was like a traditional middle school. We referred to our teachers by Mr. and Mrs., we had homework, tests, essays, individual and group projects, and sports. My experience was very good. I enjoyed the bigger class size, the teachers were all great, and the sports were competitive. Amherst Middle School was a good experience. However, Souhegan High School was vastly different. It was more loose-goosy. We called our teachers by their first names, we didn't need hall passes, and it was an overall more relaxed environment. For me personally, this brought comfort and I felt as though my relationships with the teachers were better, and I could ask for help more easily.
