    Senior: When you hear about certain schools, you hear of problems such as bullying. Schuylkill Haven may not get all 5 stars but we do not tolerate bullying. We are a very small school so in tune everyone knows everyone. Due to this we all sort of become associated with one another. Which is also very good. Some things really need improvement such as the cleanliness as well as the food portions being served. Another thing that needs to be fixed is the availability of guidance councilors. I was trying to get information for college but they were never to be found.

    Senior: I honestly don't mind going to Tri-Valley. Its a very nice school. The teachers are nice and there are many opportunities to be found here if you use the right resources. I had found my place in the ag department. Its very hands on and there are many opportunities to find. I had found my way into FFA and it was the best decision i had ever made. I found my happy place.

    Alum: I really enjoyed my time at Pottsville Area High School. The teachers and staff were good, all except the science teachers. They need to hire a new science staff. I feel I was prepared for college, except in the area of science, and I have done well so far in college because of this preparation. The school atmosphere is good, I did not encounter any problems with other students. I participated in many clubs while in high school, and the advisers for those clubs took an active role in the activities given. The principal Tiffany Reedy is excellent. She runs the school well, and you can always depend on her to follow through with what she says she will do.

    Senior: Tamaqua Area School District (TASD) is the only district that I have been exposed to, but I fully believe that it is an overall great school. I have challenged myself with honors classes as well as with extracurriculars and thus far have been successful. The honors classes and AP classes provided are both challenging and effective. The faculty is very encouraging, compassionate, and will sacrifice their free time to help you if you are struggling with the class. Furthermore, the language arts department has done an excellent job for preparing their students for the SATs and with writing essays. Aside from core courses, TASD also provides a variety of electives which allow the student to explore subjects that they may have an unknown passion for. Additionally, TASD has a wide range of extracurriculars and sports that are open to all students. As an upcoming senior, I am pleased to say that my years at Tamaqua have been educational as well as fun!

    Senior: Blue Mountain High School is an excellent High School. The faculty and staff at BM is superior to most and are constantly enriching the education of the students. Our athletic programs are engaging and competitive, consistently possessing successful seasons. If athletics are not your thing, Blue Mountain has a vast selection of clubs and activites which gurantees any student a way to enjoy his or her free time. Students of this establishment should expect to feel well prepared for college as many courses hold this preparation in high regard. The facilities on campus remain clean and well kept.

    Parent: We have been in this school district now for almost 3 years and they are all about the students. Academics is a big part as well as sports but so is community based activities and family friendly participation. Sometimes its standing room only for some events, everyone wants to be a part of what their children are doing and how they're going to get there.

    Niche User: Currently enrolled at Millersville University majoring with a BFA. The school is okay it has a small campus without much to do there and older buildings that might be in need of an update, but the faculty I have experienced at MU are what made this school worth every penny. The entire art department is very dedicated and if you want to get the most out of it they will help you the whole way. Personally I'm glad I didn't transfer somewhere else and miss out on working for years with these individuals.
