Alum: I graduated from LuHi in 2016 and went on to graduate from Cornell in 2020. As I reflect on my LuHi experience and how it influenced my journey in college, it becomes clear that going to an independent school set my high school experience significantly apart from my peers. While most of my classmates were focused on state exams and strict academic requirements, I had the privilege of being able to explore topics I was most interested in outside of the core classes, learn real-world skills through our midterm week replacement called Beyond Boundaries, and build character through the very intentional spiritual curriculum. After going to a public middle school and not meeting my potential, LuHi helped me reach my potential as a student and child of God. My parents sent my brother to LuHi as well because of how pleased they were and I would encourage any interested parent on Long Island to do the same!Read 142 Reviews
Senior: Steward has been a great decision on where to go to high school for me! I was in a large public school before I came here. Being in the small, private school environment of Steward, I have been able to thrive. Teachers are extremely helpful and want you to succeed. Students welcome new peers. The facilities are unparalleled, and the sports teams are amazing considering how small we are.Read 41 Reviews
