Parent: I can't say enough good things about Bishop Seabury Academy. It's a kind, supportive place where my kids were "seen" every day. In Seabury middle and high school they made lasting friendships, teachers were mentors, and my kids tried multiple activities because of the no-cut policy. Plus, Seabury cares about the whole child: my kids learned time and stress management, social skills, ethics, and how to be an active member of a community--in other words, good citizenship. Also, I loved being part of the Seabury parent community--so many kind, talented Lawrence residents who truly value education. My kids made life-long friends...but so did I. On the academic side, my kids were always challenged: the faculty is outstanding. Plus, we got detailed, step-by-step college counselling, starting junior year. After Seabury, one of my kids went to Washington University in St. Louis, the other to Northwestern University, both with generous scholarships. Great school--HIGHLY recommend!... Read 40 reviews
