Senior: As a student here at the Chula Vista Learning Community Charter School, I can't stress enough how lucky I am to attend this school. I can honestly say that this school was the best option for me. Every single day, faculty and staff dedicate themselves in providing the best for us. The teachers are always adjusting their teaching for our learning, and they always want the best for us. In addition, CVLCC is a school that is truly unique with it's college readiness class, internship opportunities, bilingual programs, and its fundamental belief in a community. Parents, teachers, students, and community members are always involved with our school. It's what sets us apart from other public schools. In CVLCC, you're not only a student, but you're also person. The school really does care about you and will do anything to see you succeed. They simply want what's best for you. All this and more is why I love my school.

Mission College Preparatory Catholic High School
- Private School
- San Luis Obispo, CA
Alum: Such an awesome school. Teachers and other Faculty are on point and school spirit radiates. You’re basically guaranteed into a college cause all of your courses are college prep, honors, AP. Faith based school, and excellent parent participation. Our school is known for becoming men and women for others and of “scholarship, inspiration and leadership”. We do a lot for our community as a requirement to go to school there and it’s the most rewarding thing. School diversity could be better. Honestly hands down don’t know where I’d be without my MCP family.

Recent Alumnus: High school took me on a rollercoaster, I had some days where i was the man on the moon, and other days where i didnt want to see another text book in my life. One thing that it did teach me was that no matter how much you want to slack off in high school, it is crutial for anybody trying to further there education.

Southwest Middle School
- Sweetwater Union High School District, CA
Works Here: Southwest is a small school with a STEAM focus, that has worked extremely hard to build a culture of college and career readiness. They are dynamic in their curricular delivery and teach children to think outside the box. They are the smallest middle school in the district, but are starting to do some really creative things!
