Alum: Cascia Hall is an extremely prestigious school where you can succeed in the classroom, field, or courts. You will be challenged on a day-to-day basis where you will improve in problem-solving skills and increase your networking as you will be around very accomplished people. Cascia Hall is a Catholic private school where theology has to be taken which I didn't personally enjoy. However, various classes are offered where you can find classes to enjoy. Junior: Yes, we are "that school with a zoo," though more accurately, it is a barnyard. I've gone to Riverfield since I was 2 years old, so understandably it has become my second home. The teachers here genuinely care about every student, and the low teacher to student ratio makes it so that you form great relationships with your teachers. The community makes you feel safe and free to be yourself. Students are able to be apart of whatever extracurricular they'd like, whether that be debate, drama, tennis, basketball, rock band, student government, etc., and however many they'd like as every team and club is welcoming to beginners. Senior: Augustine Christian Academy is a school dedicated to teaching students how to learn and not just what to learn through a classical education style. It’s a smaller Christian school which allows the students to really bond with each other and build relationships and friendships that last a lifetime. Something about ACA that makes it unique is our House system. It is inspired by European boarding schools and all students from grades 9 through 12 are divided into four Houses based off of their character traits. These Houses participate in competitions in order to win and be the House of Honor for that Quarter. Houses foster leadership in students and it creates a family-like community filled with students encouraging each other academically, spiritually, and emotionally. ACA is designed to challenge students and help them grow and be prepared for all the challenges life will throw their way. Parent: My three children attended Tulsa Adventist Academy in various grades and had mostly positive experiences. The teachers were attentive, caring, and qualified, and the school was actively involved in local church activities and community service. All were ready for college and one is now in medical school; one is a histologist; and one is still in college. All of their Adventist education experiences have been helpful to their personal maturation, worldview, and authenticity. Middle School Student: Hello my name is Emily Pierce and I am in eighth grade and I attend bixby middle school. A few things I love about Bixby middle school is that it offers honors and AP classes. Unlike my old school which was a lot smaller than Bixby it didn’t offer honors classes so the classes were a little bit too easy for me and I wasn’t really challenging my myself the way I had hoped. Bixby is one of the largest schools in Oklahoma and I’m very proud to be apart of the district. All of the teachers I have had during my time at Bixby have been so helpful and understanding. They have helped me learn more things in the past 3 years then I ever did at my old school. I’m not trying to say my old school didn’t teach me things, but Bixby has accelerated way past the teaching standard in my opinion. I could never imagine leaving Bixby public schools because I have made amazing friends not only with my classmates but with the teachers. Sorry I’m cutting it short I hope to hear from you soon!... Middle School Student: Out of all school, I recommend you going to Jenks because you might regret not going there. Being a new student means that you are new to everything. You`ll get a school tour, so on your first day, you wouldn`t get lost. Teachers like to treat you like you're there own children. Would protect you from any danger. Always there when you need someone to talk to. WEB - leader which is a program helping 7th grader and new kids. It`s the greatest thing ever because they help me with everything. Senior: I have gone to Metro Christian Academy since kindergarten, and there is truly nothing like it! The teachers and administration are fantastic and have the students' best interests at heart. When all grades, from P-3 to 12th, are in the same building, a strong sense of community is built, and otherwise unlikely connections/friendships flourish. Not only are the academics unmatched, the athletics and extracurricular opportunities are also beyond compare of other private schools in the area. Middle School Student: The teachers and administration were really kind and helpful. The students were also helpful as well. The school is really active in their activities and clubs. For example, the student council. The teachers in charge were really helpful and made everyone feel involved whether you were shy or not. The teachers and administration were also very thorough with their rules. Although, it may seem as if they're strict, the teachers made it really fun.
