Junior: Deciding to apply for a scholarship and go to a boarding school in the US may be the best decision I have ever made in my life. This school only made my fantastic experience even better. Great faculty, staff, peers, location, equipment, buildings, sports, academics basically anything you could wish for a school to have, this school nailed it. Junior: Best parts of my experience at Saint John's Jesuit would be the quality education. The school offers a rigorous academic curriculum, providing a strong foundation for future endeavors. The teachers are knowledgeable and dedicated to helping students succeed. My experience that could be considered as the worst parts would be the limited course offerings. The school offers a strong academic curriculum, there may be limited options in certain subject areas. Senior: I am going into my third year at St. Ursula Academy, and I could not be more exited! Having come from a big school, where it is ever so easy to get lost in the crowd, St. Ursula's unique approach to teaching their endeavor to connect with those enrolled was unprecedented to say the least. When I came here, I felt more like a person with inherent value and less like a number. It is so apparent that the teachers and others employed at St. Ursula care, they take pleasure in our success. They invest in our growth as learners and as individuals every step of the way. I truly felt like there were people I could rely on, even through my darkest times. Senior: I transferred to Toledo Christian second semester of my Sophomore year. I love the school very much for the short amount of time i have been there. I have made so many friends that think like me and help me in the rough times. I love all of the teachers and how much they care about their students. The worst part o my experience would be the strict dress code and the rule of no phones. I would change the enviornment of how the guys don't really interact with the girls. I would also change how some teachers teach about the bible. The Bible teachers at TC, some have no idea what it is that they are talking about. Others are very good at what they do. Senior: I am a Senior of 2021 at HCS. Overall, it is a great school and a great opportunity for any student. The only reasons that it is not five stars are sports, parent involvement, and the lack of clubs and activities. As far as sports go, it's not their fault at all. For guys, there is only soccer and basketball. But that is only because we do not have the facilities or enough people to do much else. Another problem is parent involvement. My mother has tried to volunteer for many things throughout the years. But she has been denied multiple times. And as far as clubs and activities, it goes back to sports.
