Freshman: The school has very good academics and is strong in the math/science department generally. The teachers are most always kind and helpful. There are many clubs and activities offered. The school has been working on improving the athletics, and is succeeding. Meadows has a great arts and music department. There is not much diversity in the school at all, however over the years, the diversity has improved. College Readiness is not an issue, students start preparing as early as freshman year. Senior: Coral academy of science Las Vegas is the best charter school I have ever seen and experienced. Coral academy prayers students for higher and challenging corses. It gets its students ready and prepared for college. If you would rate this school it will be 9.5 out of 10. There is nothing about the Academic stuff that I would like to change. The school is doing fantastic in the academic. However, I would like them on PE class not to take the students out of campus to go and do their activities at the park across the street. I feel that it’s not safe for students. Second thing is that as you all know the school shoring rate across the United States of America is so haigh. Coral academy fence around the school is law. Parent: I am thrilled with what Adelson is doing for our kids. We have three kids there, and each of them is learning at a very comfortable pace, socializing very well, and there are many athletics opportunities. What I especially love is there is no "woke" teaching. The emphasis is on math, English, a positive outlook on American history, and related matters that are essential for a child's development and preparation for the real world. We moved from Los Angeles, where we had some degree of strange teaching/education, and that is just not present here. We don't have to worry about that. And the administrators are warm, welcoming, and very easy to talk with! Finally, the classroom sizes are smaller, and much more attention is focused on the children. We are very blessed to have found Adelson. if there's one thing I would like to see changed (only because the prompt suggests I answer that) is perhaps a better emphasis on athletics, but even that is pretty good. Alum: I enjoyed my whole high school experience here at Faith Lutheran. From the very first year I instantly felt prepared, loved, and welcomed at this school. The teachers truly care for your academic success and even your well-being. They want you to succeed and will help you in any way they can. The faculty has made students their priority. They are constantly making the school environment welcoming and faith-based where students can thrive and grow together. Junior: This school is the best school I have ever been to. With the way the teachers and the students treat me, I feel like I am in a safe environment. Also, this school has made me closer to God than ever in my life. I have such a love for God because of this school, and I have more friends here too. There academics are really good, and the teachers teach their subject well. All of the field trips that we do are so much fun. We do mission trips, retreat and other stuff. There wasn’t really any thing that was bad about this school other than the crowded hallways, but that’s mainly it. I just hope that this school could figure out a way to fix the crowded hallway issue during passing periods. Senior: I believe that Doral Academy Red Rock is a great school. Its atmosphere, community, and opportunity to build one-to-one relationships with teachers and staff creates an overall safe and encouraging space to grow and flourish as students. I have had a fair share of good and bad experiences with former staff and teachers, but I have generally built good relationships with my peers and teachers/mentors that have helped me rise to success academically and in my extracurriculars. However a thing I would like to see changed, or yet better prioritized, is the funding and emphasis in our Fine Arts Programs. From the very opening of this campus we have had the title of being an ‘Arts-Integrated School’ associated with our name. However, it is noticeable that in recent years our fine arts departments have not been sustainably funded as compared to our sports programs. Junior: My overall experience at Amplus Academy was not the best, but also not the worst. The advanced curriculum the school offers is great for students that was to stellar in academics. The teachers and staff provide us with as much as they can which is very helpful for the students and the students' parents / guardians. Some of the rules and regulations at Amplus Academy are questionable and some are unnecessary. Students often disagree with the strict rules put on them. I would like to see the programs of Amplus Academy change. I would like to see more advanced education programs like the AIA and EMT programs. Parent: This school is outstanding! Moving our kids from a public school to this school was the best decision we ever made for them. They’re now receiving amazing instruction and a real education. They have begged me to not take them out of this school. Not only are the class sizes smaller so there’s more one on one time, but they take the time to get to know each student. Junior: I have been going to this school since it first opened up in 2016, at the time I was only ten years old and enrolled in the fifth grade. As of the 2022-2023 school year I am a junior who is enrolled in the dual enrollment program offered by Pinecrest Cadence. If it weren’t for all of the staff members there and the teachers who taught me I wouldn’t have pushed myself as far to get to where I am now. The school pushes students to excel in their studies but keep it fun with a hands on experience. They understand that academics is a huge part in everyone’s lives and focuses on STEM and CTE courses along with performing arts.
