Joaquin Cigarroa Middle School
- Laredo Independent School District, TX
Senior: Joaquin Cigarroa Middle school was an amazing school! Not only did I learn a lot but I got to meet new people. Entering middle school most of us came from different other feeder schools, I met knew people. My teachers were a big help in the classrooms and taught me a lot not only about the subject they were teaching but for things later on in the future. Everyone knew everyone at one point, you couldn’t get lost in that school, the teachers everyday every passing period standing outside their classrooms either greeting you or making sure you get to your class. My coaches were probably my best mentors growing up, they taught me a lot. How to always keep dreaming big and that no matter what I have to do what my heart desires. They have helped me shape myself into a better person, not only did they see me shape up physically but also mentally. If I weren’t have gone to Cigarroa Middle school, to this day I don’t know who I would be or what I would be thinking.

Power Christian Academy
- Private School
- Laredo, TX
- PK, K-12
Senior: I have been attending Power Christian Academy for the past three years. As a high school student, I feel that the school has done a good job in preparing me for college. The staff are all very kind and genuinely care for each students success. The curriculum is straightforward and I feel that with proper study it can be successful. I would recommend Power Christian Academy to anyone looking for a small school, as well as lots of student-teacher interactions during learning. Overall, studying at PCA has been a wonderful experience for me and I am happy to be graduating from this school.
