Senior: I'm a senior at Echo High school and I am a student athlete and my overall experience is great. We have some many activities such as sports and other extra curricular activities such as FFA, National Honors Society, knowledge bowl, key club, Ace car club, Fishing club, Trap shooting. Our school takes pride in being a small school because most students are involved in multiple activities which make for a more well rounded student.Having the community so involved with our school is great it gives the students a chance to give back to the community in return for what they do for us. The teachers at Echo are great they really focus on holding kids accountable for their mistakes but using it as a learning opportunity so they can learn from their mistakes. Parent: With a recent change in administrative staff this school has vastly improved their communication. I had two students on campus this last year and there was a huge shift in attitude and community in the school. It became more inclusive, more inviting, and more focused on the overall well being of each student. There was no longer a weird popularity contest to get attention from administrators. Parent: Best college preparation and social awareness my student has ever had. She was an excellent student before arriving at Liberty and has only continued to excel. Courses are well planned and well executed. Upper division work is as challenging as you are capable (or want to be challenged). Faculty engagement is very high, and they actively the student. For such a small school, the sports program is well developed and diverse enough. Again, this is a small school, so EVERY sport is not represented. But service clubs, student leadership, and activities are numerous and well represented. The campus is not as diverse as a public school in Pasco, but then again, neither is Southridge High School, so one has to consider the reality of geography. The student engagement at the high school, elementary and middle school levels are high. The best part, a staff GENUINELY committed to seeing their students grow spiritually and a civically. Parent: Our families personal experience with MCP has been exceptional. I am a mother of 4 kids. My oldest graduated back in 2004 and then my next 2019 both sons went to schools I wont name on here but had the WORST admin and dealt with issues so terribly. Now my two daughters, one graduated from MCP last year and had switched over from a school in which I had lost ALL faith in and was NOT happy about. Once at MCP my daughter excelled and learned to trust in Admin again. I have other daughter who attends still and is now in the third grade. I have found out of all schools and admin MCP has changed how I look and feel about schools! Admin is so friendly, helpful and excellent communicators! Teachers are very helpful and truly love their jobs! My third grader asked ALL summer when she can go back. High School Senior: In the past four years i have attended Prosser High School it has been the best and worst of times. For every year my class has gone up one grade, a student has passed away. Those four losses were the hardest times to get through, but we all did. Together as a class, a school, and a community, we stuck together and helped each other through these times. Parents, teachers, and students were unified as a family in order to help friends and family grieve the incredible students we had to say goodbye to.
