Parent: A wonderful progressive school! The teachers and the administration ensure that important curriculum topics such as Critical Race Theory, Gender Identity, White Supremacy and Privilege are being taught with love and compassion. Opening the student’s minds at a young age is such a vital piece of what makes this school such a shining gem in an area of Puritanical conservatism. I give kudos to the administration and the board for institutional changes and listening to the alumni and parents who see the changes that needed to take place in order for this school to become an inclusive institution for all students.
Don’t let the negativity that you’re hearing about CCHS deter you. This is a place of love and has staff and teachers who are vocal about their mission for the marginalized (LGBTQ+, POC, etc). What more could you ask for?

Alum: I liked how the teachers honestly tried to prepare each and every student for high school. I would like to see the school lunches change to something healthier, which would be more beneficial for the student body.

Junior: My experience at Kingsway Christian School has been amazing. It is a small school, which has many pros and cons. Some of the pros include having smaller classes, so you get more one on one with your teachers. You get to know your teachers on a personal level, and they are really dedicated to do anything to help you succeed! Also it allows for your class and other students to get to know each other really well a form deep relationships with each other. My class has become extremely close, seeing many of us have taken the same classes with each other since kindergarten. Some of the cons however mean since we are a smaller school, we do not have as many resources or funding as some bigger schools, however Kingsway does a great job at improvising.
