Middle School Student: While I do dislike the counseling and some of the teachers the majority of teachers and student I have met are very cool now they do cuss alot but it is middle school. The staff for the most part is very thoughtful snd helpful but the counselor I have is a absolute horrible experience she is always in everyone's business and if not for that we could be a very successful and great school for academic purposes.... Freshman: I had studied in this school since I was a freshman. I sincerely appreciate faculty members for passionately taking care of students. Above all, the college counselor had put a lot of efforts to help students be admitted to prestigeous colleges. He invited many college admission officers and held seminars for those who aspire to attend those colleges. Also, the school hired competent teachers to provide overflowing academic knowledges and opportunities to students. Among them, there was an English teacher who was a Harvard University graduate student and a science teacher, who worked under the U.S. government and university. Junior: The most important thing about Grace Academy is how the teachers are there for you. No matter what you're facing or going through, you always have someone that is there for you and someone you can depend on. They prepare you for the reality and plant biblical principles within you. The staff is there to talk to you about your future and they listen to what you have to say. Chaple and small groups rotate every month which helps revive you throughout the week. A big benefit is having amazing lunch ladies who work hard to provide healthy food for all k3 to 12th-grade students. A lot of schools don't have healthy options for lunch but Grace Academy does there best to have tasty, healthy lunches. Another thing Grace Academy does, that you won't find at most schools, is having at least 3 staff members outside each morning to greet you when you come into school. Alum: The teachers are always willing to help the students, and push them to critically think. Tuition is relatively affordable, and they use the abeka curriculum. Spiritually, whether in chapel or in the classroom, students are challenged to grow closer in their relationship with God. As far as what I would like to see get better is the school's technology, music department, science equipment, and sports equipment. With a smaller student body, Emmanuel has less resources than larger schools. But also with the size, the students all know each other and are pretty tight knit. The school has been making some really nice improvements through fundraisers. Recently Emmanuel got new lockers for the high school, new gym bleachers, a new playground, and the gym floor redone with the school logo in the center of the gym. I would definitely recommend Emmanuel for its great impact on students, not just academically but spiritually.... Read 3 reviews
