Freshman: I went here, and it was interesting. The building itself is old but things here and there gets replaced. The teachers, if the students allow it, are nice and will help you if there is a problem. All they want is to help, but they keep getting turned away. Alum: Mendon High School is a small community school with nice high-qualified teachers. MHS warmly welcomes every new student and international students too. Kids, who study there, have a chance to accomplish their goals, improve their skills in different kinds of sport, band and other clubs. The most exciting part for me was doing sports. The cheerleading, track and basketball team and couches gave me an opportunity to open up and atart liking sports more and more. Mendon High School has a really high quality of education. Teachers always know the way how to make their lesson interesting for students. They are always ready and happy to help everyone who struggles with certain subjects or has some questions. Parent: I love that my kids are being taught a Biblical Worldview. The teachers go above and beyond in the classroom to reach each student. My kids are able to choose from a variety of classes: traditional classrooms, online and dual enrollment options are all available. Athletics is another big reason why we love HCS! The kids learn many important life lessons from being involved on the many teams offered. I love that HCS supports the life lessons that we are trying to teach and home. Senior: Growing up attending Colon High School, I have found that getting extra help from teachers and having everyone at the school be your friend was much easier than attending a Class A school. There is about 40 kids in each class, and everyone knows each other and gets along. More than half of the school contributes to sports, helping our school win state in 8-man football in 2019, and also achieving many district titles in all sports (girls and boys).
