Senior: I love Booker T. Washington for the school culture! The academics at Booker T. is unmatched by the variety of AP and IB courses offered. College readiness is highly encouraged and counselors are excited to help you start the new chapter in your life as we even have an Ivy League-specific college advisor. The athletics and arts programs are well funded and have won many awards. The diversity at Booker T. is the best in Tulsa, Ok. School pride is well renowned and the school is very tradition-rich as it was founded in 1913. Overall, this is a wonderful highschool and I can with pride, say "I'm so glad I go to Booker T"!... Senior: It's an incredible school. Teachers highly encourage students to try their best and achieve their goals. We are considered the best high school in the state of Oklahoma. Our International Baccalaureate program is nationally ranked. The Visual Performing Arts program creates the most outstanding artists in Oklahoma. We've had students going to their dream schools such as Princeton. As a senior from Classen School of Advanced Studies, they provide one of the best educations I have ever been taught. Middle School Student: Going to that school is like joining a family. Even years after you leave the teachers and staff still remember you and reach out to ask if you are okay or if you need help with anything. When I was younger I moved around a lot and hated always being the 'new' kid, but at Sadler it was easier. The staff made sure that I was adjusting well and the students were amazing and easy to connect with. Overall Sadler is probably the best school I will have ever had the chance to go to.... Middle School Student: It was a little hard adjusting because of the new ways of learning I jad never experianced. I didnt really fit in at first. Now, as I leave Thoreau, I have made so many connections with great people. Senior: I enjoyed my four years at this high school, whether it had ups and downs. The teachers there are wonderful people, showing concern for the wellbeing of their students and made coming to school bearable. I have a lot of trouble focusing and doing my work, but I was able to accumulate an average GPA in my senior year of a 4.25 due to the help I received and encouragement by my teachers. Senior: Really amazing freshman orientation for new students entering southeast! There’s a orientation for freshman a day before school starts and they basically put us into groups with seniors who give us a tour at southeast. We get to play games to get to know each other, a map for the school and they walk us around and tell us each hallway and what classes are located in that hallway. The first day of school there are seniors who are around to help any fellow freshman locate their classes so they don’t get lost there first day.Freshman year will definitely be a good year! Sophomore year was a more relaxed year, you are in the middle , during your sophomore year your more of doing your own thing. Junior year was a bit stressful because you have to take the ACT and your trying to take all the necessary classes to graduate next year but the teachers understand that junior year is more of a difficult year and work with you to make sure your all caught up....
