Senior: I have enjoyed my time at Capa. Overall, the people here are nice and there isn't a lot of drama. The range of courses is very limited, which is something that you have to weigh in comparison to the half a day you get to spend during majors (at least in high school). I'm a visual artist, and it's great. The teachers are laid back and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved outside of school. With that being said, the resources for the visual arts department are lacking. Our supply closet flooded and it never got fixed, and the water ruined a bunch of kids' artwork. The school lunches are pretty terrible, but that's standard for public school. Although there aren't your stereotypical jocks and popular kids, people do tend to form friend-groups, and some people stick with the same crowd. However, people are very friendly here and are pretty willing to strike up a conversation, especially if you start it. There are good and bad teachers here, so it's a gamble.... Read 329 reviews
